I vaguely remember these being out.

I purchased my brand spanking new Atari 2600 in 1982 and remember liking that it hooked up to any TV with the adaptor. I would have liked that better than the monitor I see in the link for the Vectrex system.

I consider myself rather old school, but holy crap. I don't remember that one at all. Atari and Colecovision are the oldest true videogames I remember playing. Anyway, wow. Thats unheard of.

My step-father had a pong machine--that was the oldest game I've ever seen, but I've never seen that thing. It must not've been very popular like the Sega Dreamcast of the Atari/Caleco revolution perhaps?

              [EDIT: Found it]

It's old, but it's not older than your Atari. 1982 release date. It just didn't sell well apparently, and it had a $200 price tag back then (Holy crap). Most people probably went with the Atari. The first Ataris came out in 1977 and my step-dad's pong machine started production in 1975.

                Wow... How unbelieveable!
How does someone get ahold of that?
Did he get it for a birthday and just keep it wrapped up for 30 years?
