Whats your favorit game of all time?

Ok i think theres a chance that this was asked at one time but that was prolly a good long time ago so now theres more choices....but the question remains the same. I'd like to know what kinda video games are seen as great in the eyes of other gamers so.....

Of all the video games ever created on any system what remains to be you greatest game ever(note: this is only the opinion of the one whom is posting i dont want there to be a bunch of arguing about who claims the best game etc.)?
Just tell us which game what system it was for and the greatest things about the game(innovation, graphics, characters, or just overlall gameplay fun factor etc.)

Note:I will return to post mine i just wanna see what other people do first.

FFVII is my all time favorite. Xenogears (NOT XENOSAGA) for the PS1 comes in at second. Both of these games I've played over 20+ times a piece and beat. They're crazily addicting. I love how they start off as one thing, and just completely turn around and end as something crazy. Both games get a 50 out of 10 on my scale. GREAT games. Xenosaga made me cry though, Namco just doesn't put enough into the series. I think Squaresoft should take up the Xenogears license again and do a remake for the PS3. Completely amazing game.

Ive never heard of Super Contra but yeah Super mario Bros.3 was really good(infact lots of the Mario series was good)

Ive seen xenogears but never played it and interesting enough ive started playen FFVII just last week havnt done to much but im gettin there its prolly one of my favorite FF games.

Ok so ill say mine now...
MY favorite game af alltime was Phantasy Star Online for the dreamcast(not the gamecube one although that one was good too)It was my first online game ever and it rocked.It was good in my opinion in all aspects of the game

I loved the ff solo game that wasn't released in the US. I think it was 2 or 4 or something, I dunno, it's really confusing, but the battle system and jobs were great, and not to mention the story was really funny and entertaining. I really loved all the ffs up to and including 7.

Favorite game of all time has to be this one. God knows I put enough time into it.

there are so many to chose from i just thought of another game series that i like quite abit and still do.

Ninja Gaiden I, II, III and the one for X-Box

and don't laugh but

Yeah i know its difficult there are so many greats but you dont have to name just one you could do like what youve done and name all of your favorites mayber we could change topic to Top 5 or 10 games of all time.

I also love Dragon Quest XIII(which my sis and i are playing currently )Mario strikers is also good with lots of freinds...and one of my favorite old school games is mario bros. 3(or duck hunt)

Super Contra/Super C was the sequel to Contra.

Well i was hoping that this was gonna be some awesome post board that would like get 100 in like 3 days but its definetly not gonna be at this rate....owell( maybe it just needs more time)(is it because no one reads the boards that arent about FFXI?)
but to stay on topic i think im gonna ad two games to my list of great games.

1.I loved morrowind:The elder scrolls it was such a good game with so many things to do(although sometimes repetative) and never left more board(except for during the massivly long loading screens)

2. Im gona ad this game(FFXI) i have never had such a great need to play a game. Because my parents are divorced a can only play while at my dads house and thats not very often so im always thinking about it and when i play games im in the FF mode and i think ther should be names above peoplees heads and a text box in the bottom left hand side

Morrowind ahhh yes i spent many hours blank faced staring at the screen.......I worked forever to get where i was, then i turned into a werewolf and the doors flew wide open. Great game.

Yeah...but i was never able to go into a werewolf i knew to be on the large island in the northwest but i was nver able to find a werewolf...I liked being a vampire though.(Vampires are awesome)

off topic I was wondering about the RPG on this page i dont know how to attack a monster i mean i can get into the battle but how do i start attacking and stuff???
