So glad to see some FFVI love around here. Pretty much any moment from that game is memorable. The Opera Scene is obvious, but I also like (spoiler tag for Suichi, just in case):

Ambiguous FFVI spoilers

the escape/submerging of Figaro Castle, descending the long staircase to the second airship, the adventures to get back Edgar, Terra, and Locke, and lots more. But I think my favorite is the end, when they cycle through all the themes as the characters escape.

The end of FFX is also really great, and IX is filled with cool moments.

Mine would have to be in FFX, on that lake, there Tidus and Yuna kiss and go under water with the back ground song "sute ki da ne"

When Vivi... turns to his "kin" and fights back, aboard the airship the group is flying to Alexandria with.

Steiner... and his beloved fight together side by side in Alexandria, the music is one of my favorites in the entire series, and i allways loved that scene. He loved her so much ^^

Also, when Zidane... thinks hes all alone fighting the giant turtle, then his friends come along to help, very heartfelt.

FF7, the first title of the series i played, the first RPG too... when Sephiroth kills Aeris, i was shocked and i felt so angry i really just wanted to kill Sephiroth, it got me in such a rage like none i had ever felt to the day, a tear actually ran down my face and i couldnt believe it. This is why i hate sephiroth more than any other villain in any story, he took something that i allways considered very dear to me, i really loved aeris.. she was strong and kind, funny and beautiful, thats the type of woman i want to marry with! Aeris ;_;

FF6 is full of great memories, the opera, ultros, Terra's ordeal.. everything seemed like such a burden for her, but she had great people to support her, really loved the whole story, kefka is the second most detestable villain! he was not only evil, he also was an evil clown of doom!

The Opera is great in FFIII (sorry, I'm conditioned to call them by the cart labels). If you liked that, and have not watched the Machima remake by Regenshire then you are a fool. (Click the link, but yes, it is a remake of the full scene, so don't watch if you don't want it to be spoiled.)

I too love the floating continent. I had to play that like 20 times to get it right.

I agree with Angryundead on both of his moments. FFII was the best. I remember when it first came out on snes, I thought the opening little movie was sooo long.

FFVI spoilers.

I really liked the scene just before you fight Kefka in the final battle, and everyone states their reasons for coming this far. The things that are said still live on in quotes in signature forums today, as a judge of how memorable it was. Also, the ending scene during the credits where they show every character was very nice as well.

I got two. For FFVI, I loved the Opera Scene. Many reasons. One, the play was actually good and the graphics stood out. Two, get to beat that joke-of-a-villain up. And three, got to see my favorite character in the whole game!

Second is for FFVII. End of disc 1. Man, I was partying like it was 1999!

Has to be that CG of Sephiroth walking through the flames.

Also, as someone mentioned before, the scenes with Aeris at the end of Disc 1.


From FFIV, where Cid jumps off the airship, and also where Cecil becomes a Paladin, where Tellah casts Meteo (W Meteo wasn't it?), and Kain- one of my alltime favorite chars.

My favorite moment has to be when Cecil ascends mount ordeals and the whole changing to a paladin scene, a true moment of victory for our former dark hero.
