To tell you the truth, the first generation 360 games don't impress me at all. They're not all that much better than Xbox graphics. Granted, this is only the first generation, but I just don't think Xbox has the hardware capable of producing that much of a better system.

Lets not forget about the amount of good games out for the 360... The only reason xbox has servived has been Halo.

I personally want the Wii, The wii has more to offer compaired to the other systems. The system will be cheaper, more exciting games (besides Final fantasy on the PS3) and lets not forget about the downloadable games on the wii. Xbox arcade is just crappy remade games, the Wii's downloadable games will be the true classics that we played on the nes,snes,n64 and genesis (i think). lets not forget one of the best game series will be put on it and Super Smash Bros. is always a enjoyable game to play.

not much to complain about with teh PS3 though, the PS3 will be a later system that i will buy when the price lowers or if i am able to reach that much money. but I will buy the Nintendo Wii before the PS3 more because of cost issues.

Anyways how can you guys even say the linup for teh 360 looks bad!? Gears of War and Halo 3 are just some of the games to begin with. What does PS3 have? Lol MGS thats it. God of War 2 is on the ps2! Come on, don't be fools, I thought the FF XI universe would be more hardcore, the Sony will be and has always been the average gamers system, with no real games to back it up, but it still sells b/c fools like you buy it b/c of it's "Shiny" graphics. If you compare the 600$ price and hardware of the PS3 to the Price and hardware of the Wii and 360 you will find a big differince all right. But not in graphics, in money and how the 360 isn't really far off the power of the PS3 AND THAT IS THE WORD!

I'm going for a Wii. Although I've been a die-hard Sony fan for years now, I'm disappointed with what they're offering now. To be completely honest, I was excited about the PS3 until I saw it in E3. Not only did they rip-off of the Wii (one of the Nintendo representatives commented on that, they're laughing at Sony), but it's way too expensive for the average gamer. Most of us don't recieve the type of income that allows us to spend hundreds and thousands on games, we have other things to take care of.

The PS3's price is just outrageous. What you're paying for is the hardware to run those "next-gen" graphics that everyone has been dying for, but what about the actual content of the games and variety? In that aspect, I was not impressed at all. The FFXIII trailor looked like the now cliche Charlie's Angels theme, and the rest of the games presented at E3 for the PS3 almost put me to sleep. Just more of the same, nothing new except the motion thing that they decided to "borrow" from the Wii. That being said, I see little to no reason to spend $700 ($699) or even $500 ($499...still expensive) on a console that took another consoles idea and inflated the price of their system AND games that has little content to offer but the "next-gen" graphics and popular titles. For me, graphics are just not enough and as for the titles such as Final Fantasy, after X-2, it's getting old. I'm worried about FF12 which hasn't even come out yet and we're already seeing a FF13 trailer! >.<

As for the Xbox 360, although most people love this system, I see it as a let-down. Very few genres of games to choose from, almost every game for it is a remake, it's just not new. The only thing that I see are pretty graphics, and in order to get the full-effect, you'll need the extremely pricey HDTV and like I said, the average gamer just can't afford to spend that much on games when they have a life. As for Halo...that seems to be the main reason why the Xbox is so popular.

So, the Wii has me bought. Nintendo always has something interesting up their sleeves and their promises to make their system AND games affordable is wonderful news. Most polls that I see (mainly Gamefaqs, yesterdays poll) show that a lot of people (27359, the highest vote) share the same opinion, although mine are more than just price related. Besides, Mario Universe looked incredible, plus Zelda and to top it all off, SSBB?! Yey! XD

Well, I'm looking forward to the Wii the most, I already have a 360, and I'll get a PS3 when either they have enough games I want to justify the truly ridiculous price or they bring the price down to a more reasonable level. I can easily afford it without a second thought, but I'm not one of those tech sheep that have to have the latest and greatest no matter the cost.

Blu-ray? Who cares? Where are the Blu-ray DVDs to make a big deal out of? The PS2 was so highly desired at release because it was a cheap DVD player, but there were plenty of DVDs already available that you can use right away. I have yet to see a single Blu-ray DVD, so there's nothing to hype up. However, I will put a preorder in on it, and if they can field at least 4 games on launch day that I would be interested in (as if that will ever happen on any release day), then I'll consider it worth buying.

Actually, Sony is going to take the loss and sell the base around 300-400 dollars. As a result of doing this, they're going to make a lot more sales and the demand for PS3 will greatly increase.

MGS4, KZ2, Warhawk, and FFXIII ftw. I'm also looking forward to Smash Bros. net gen. As for Halo, I got bored very fast, so the only reason I might consider buying a 360 is Gears of war.

I'm most interested in the Wii, mostly because the pricepoint for the PS3 is a bit daunting. I'll still probably pick one up eventually though.

I have to admit, I wouldn't mind having a 360 either, so I could play FFXI in my living room instead of hanging out in my office all the time, but I don't have an HDTV, so I'll stick with my PC for the time being.

You can get a video card with Video Output and still hook it up to the TV. Pretty cheap too.

Yeah, but I don't want my PC in my living room. I use the living room for living room things, and I use my office for PC things.

Plus, my monitor is about as large as my TV.

One of these days I'll get around to building an awesome entertainment center, and then maybe my PC will get networked in or something, but for the time being I'll just hang out in my office.

At least I have a comfortable desk chair.

Personaly I picked up a 360. I voted Wii because thats the next one I'm going to pick up. I will evently have a PS3 but there will need to be a few games on it I desire only on the PS3 to justify the pricetag.
