I'm really starting to get excited about the Revolution. (Yes, I know they gave it a name, but damn it, I'm never going to call it that!) The "Num Chuck" thing may take some getting used to, but these games look like a helluva lotta fun. But we don't have a launch date or a price point yet do we?
wow i have loved all the SSB series and this one is well wooooooow, and yes the box i cant wait, i wanted to see more of older chars tho ee if there still in it, like yoshi and roy(my fav char off SSBM)
Somehow, snake fighting a pokemon, bowser, and kirby just doesn't seem right for his character. He would also have to be able to jump 10 feet in the air and jump on air.
BRD72 BST58 Windurst 8 Got to charm em all! lolemobst~Veve~
From what I've heard, It looks like the Revolution/Wii may come out as soon as early September, and may have two price points: one for the system by itself, and a higher one for the system bundled with an updated Duck Hunt & Excitetruck (o.O)...Most likely guesses seem to be 200system/250bundle or 250/300. I'd also heard that they may be making a separate Light Gun for those who don't want to use the main stick for light-gun games.
Then again, some rumors put it as low as 150/200. Only time will tell. Keep in mind that, as little as a week before the 360's release, people were "absolutely sure" that it would go for 400-450 for Core and 5-600 for Pro. We'll all have to wait and see.
Everything I've heard and seen about the controller suggests that, while it is awkward at first, you get used to it quickly, especially in games such as Zelda:TP, Metroid Prime 3, and Red Steel, which were designed with the motion-sensor capabilities in mind...The learning curve from "how the heck do you use this contraption" to "comfortable" can be as little as ten minutes, or so it would seem.
