On the fence with X / Y, but I dunno. I need a game to hold me over until XIV becomes more than Myth and Coil farm. Suggestions? Prefer online multiplayer games. (I get bored with SC2 / LoL easily.)

Nether is being advertised on Steam. It's like DayZ, but with monsters instead of zombies.

Because it's actually really fucking fun if you can manage to play with people who are on the same level as you. Third Strike in college was an absolute blast despite the fact that all of us were terrible at the game.

Got Pokemon X. 40 hours in so far

I didn't like most of the DS generation games save for HG/SS, but this is easily the best I've played since the original G/S games. Seems like the goal of a worldwide release for X/Y helped Game Freak find new inspiration for how they do things. The online features in particular are integrated extremely well and are much less of a hassle to deal with than the DS generation of games were. I like the addition of Wonder Trades and O-Power, along with being able to train my stats and the minigames that make your pokemon more friendy.

I do wish they had an auto=translate feature so people would give me the right O-powers, but I do like that there are incentives to have international pokemon this time out. One of my earliest Wonder Trades was a Japanese Ditto.

Put that in my nursery right away.

I do wish they had an auto=translate feature so people would give me the right O-powers, but I do like that there are incentives to have international pokemon this time out. One of my earliest Wonder Trades was a Japanese Ditto.

I'll be heading out to grab my PS4 in roughly an hour, couldn't do the midnight thing due to transportation issues (really sucks too, I so wanted to be there for the midnight crowd. I could have if I hadn't ordered from the Mall location, but I hate each and every twat who works at the EB near me)


I just hope they don't run out of Killzone copies as I only pre-ordered BF4.

Finally finished Dark Souls. The insane bonfire placement persisted all the way up to and including the final boss, which was also a really lame boss fight. The ending was about 5 seconds long.

I'm wouldn't recommend this game to anyone.

Well, back to Pokemon Y.

They already had incentives for international pokemon - they had increased breeding rates. It's been that way since Gen IV, I think. Did they add something else on top of that?
