Re: What games are you currently playing?
Not exactly the most subtle boxart, but still the best I've seen for 3DS since FE; Awakening:

SMT IV is launching in May in Japan, so we might see a Fall release here in the US if Atlus USA puts it on the fast track.
That aside, I just finished the second dungeon in P4G. So far a lot of the new content additions are rather subtle. I picked Hard Mode since this is my third run, so the SOS feature does actually prove to be useful, even though the rest of the mode scales shop and compendium prices up a bit high. I still can't take down the optional boss in Yukiko's Castle, though, once he pulls Rampage he wipes my party every time. Apparently level 27 isn't high enough for me to take him on.
SMT IV is getting a similar SoS feature that P4G has, but its also getting this temp-buff called "Smirk" which briefly covers your elemental weakness and boosts other stats. Kinda like the Boost in DQVIII, I guess. minus stacking attack buffs.

Also gave the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate demo a spin today. Given its an expansion of Tri and uses the same assets, its's not going to blow any minds at this point, but it does use the 3D well. camera controls are assigned to a nice, big virtual D-pad on the touch screed along with the standard D-pad, so the camera actually works out rather well and you wouldn't really need the Circle Pad Pro. Usually I hate virtual D-pads, but this one panned out.
The big problem is that the text in the demo is that same tiny-ass typewriter text from the other versions of this game. It does not work at its given size and 3DS' resolution. It would still be bad if this were on Vita, but its worse and really hard to read here. I don't know what Capcom USA was thinking, but I hope its addressed in the full version of the game or I'll just save myself a headache and get it on Wii U later.
