WASD is like the only way I can conceive controlling movement on a keyboard. And what alternative would there have been to the mouse? Double-WASD would just piss you off more.

ESDF is actually a lot better due to it freeing up A as one more keybind and it also means that you can reach T, G, H, B and N without stretching but only if you have small hands. If you have big hands like me that anything other than WASD means you tend to derpy hands a lot and hit a dozen keys without realising.

It's how you control the camera in XIV, and it's annoying as hell.

Fair enough, but it's still WASD. I don't care if you do it with ESDF or the arrow keys or if you're left-handed and use IJKL or what have you. At the end of the day you're putting your fingers in the same shape and using them in the same way.

It's how you control the camera in XIV, and it's annoying as hell.

It's nothing new, XI used it on the compact controls.

about to start playing the fan translation of Fatal Frame 4 for the Wii, but I am going to play it on the Dolphin emulator so I can change the controls (the main reasons why I think Nintendo did not want it released overseas) they are pretty bad....no I take that back, they are horrible.....

Got tired of the AC series after Brotherhood. Felt linear.

Looked all over the net for an MMO on the PS3 that wasn't DCUO I found "one" that's supposed to be an "MMO" but it's just a shooter. It's in closed beta testing and it's called Dust 514. I guess it's made by the people who made EVE Online. But now your a combatant on the planet. Apparantly last week keys were given out. I got the last one off Raptr that someone posted, I got lucky since the guy before me didn't have a PS3 and had no use for it. So I uploaded the code on PSN and installed the game/updated. The game is pretty cool.

I started using arrow keys first time I used keyboard movement in a game, but switched to WASD for the ability to use my mouse more readily. Once I got over the, "Hrr drr my left hand is retarded" stage, it came easily to me. Now it feels awkward to use my arrow keys.
