Maybe they'll get this one right because now EA is too busy sucking the soul and personality out of Insomniac over their new game which looked cooler as Overstrike than it does now as Fuse.
I would just have even a little more respect for EA if the just let their studios be. For all the things we rip in Square Enix for there is one thing they've gotten right this generation - buying western studios and then getting the fuck out of their way unless they think they can help the project in some way. I totally respect that. If I have to put up with another FFXIII game in exchange for that, SE can keep going with it because their western acquisitions are proving to be golden so far.
EA does not do this. They focus test the shit out of everything until bland visuals and concepts ensue. Bioware lasted for a bit because they came in with pre-existing ideas but any new IP from them now is something I would not put tons of faith in. I wasn't even a huge Insomniac fan, but I did have a respect and understanding for the games they made. Sony, like SE, just signed them on and got out of their way - which is the best thing you can do. I like nothing more than hearing a developer can take their sweet time to make the game they envisioned (Too Human and Duke Nuke Nukem Forever notwithstanding).

Also, since I don't feel like making another post just for this - WTF Apple, why you change the adapter for iPhone 5? I really don't know what it is with these mobile devices and trying to make the slimmer but I am not getting an iPhone 5 until til next year when the new adapters are cheaper. And to think I'd really just be buying it only for use in the car.

Sadly, I'm pretty sure that's the reason why a lot of DICE's top guys have left. SOBS are gonna ruin BF by driving out their best talent.
Hell it's why ME3 was such a F up too - EA rushing the development schedule to meet an arbitrary deadline.

Should spend some time compiling a list of all the glitches in that game.
There's your favorite, the eyes rolling away from who Shepard is talking too. I always enjoy the icons signifying an item of interest appearing in cutscenes. Or how I finished the war assets quest for Aria t'loak, but they never showed up in my War Assets. During Priority: Earth today, I killed a Banshee while it was in the middle of a biotic attack. In the following cutscene, the biotic effects can be seen just floating there in mid-air.
And my personal favorite right now. If you are in the Citadel and finished "Leviathan", you can press down on menu to select where you want to go on the Citadel from one of the cabs. And even if the Dr Bryson's Lab option can't be seen, you can still select it. You'll get stuck in the loading screen if you want to go there, of course.
Gonna play Fallout 3 side by side with Nocturne and then restart New Vegas after this run.
I've decided to be a terrible person on both runs, though with Nocturne pure evil is actually the hardest path to walk. In Fallout 3, it got me my own penthouse suite within two hours of playing because I rigged the bomb in Megaton to explode. I didn't want to help Moria with her stupid Wasteland Survival Guide this time.
I'm trying to do everything Nocturne has to do and see, which means attain all the summons, unlock the ultimate Pixie and become Lucifer's top guy. This so I can follow it up with Digital Devil Saga's 2nd Cycle later in where I face off against Nocturne's protagonist as an optional megaboss. So I'm out to kill myself, I guess.
Obsidian didn't name names, but it doesn't stop EA or Activision from instantly popping into my mind.
Though I am happy for Obsidian on raising kickstarter funds for Project Eternity. Its going to be a throwback to their Black Isle stuff, a DnD-ish setting but with the kind of choice and consequence that they do so well in their more recent games.
If you still want in for the perks, their Kickstarter has 27 days left but they are about 500k past their goal now.
PS3 kioskes have Playstation All-Stars as a demo now.
Kratos, Jak, Parappa and Big Daddy were in the demo.
The game literally is a reskinned Smash Bros. What's really confusing is there's no way to track who's really winning. In Smash Bros. you don't have a score but you do have a limited number of lives. In PSABR you have infinite lives and there's no tally anywhere on the screen to track that so you really don't know how well anyone is doing until til time is up, which I find rather sloppy design for a brawler, casual or otherwise.
Kratos is OP, plain and simple. All his moves heat seek the nearest target so he can pummel them to pieces. None of the other three characters had heat seeking moves so when I emerged with 31 KOs and everyone else was either 0 or in the negative post-game, i figured he was the Metaknight of the demo. Jak I also won but it was a much more narrow win and mostly with just the tier 1 super/smash/whatever.
Parappa and Big Daddy - it just felt like whoever was tasked with these two didn't know or care about making them fit in this game. I mean, I've not yet played Bioshock, but my undedrstanding is that Big Daddys and Little Sisters are to be feared and all the moves are incredibly short range and weak. I get the low movement speed is part of the package, but it really doesn't feel like anyone cared with they added Big Daddy. Parappa was just as bad.
Decided to set aside the Sleeping Dogs idea for a bit, because I suddenly got this urge to play both Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross back to back.
Parappa
Was he ever popular? He gets points for being distinctive looking so he's easily recognizable, even for someone like me who has never had a PSX. But was he popular?
