Later on the combat gets a bit more interesting. I love the game quite a bit, I'm on my second play-through and I'm still having a blast.

Well, I messed around with the side-chapters and farmed some materials here and there, but by the end of my first play-through I left off at around 18 hours.

Really that short? For some reason I though this game was going to be a full on RPG length game, *shrugs* but on well I am going to love the story anyway ;p

EA is pretty much devoted to the idea of alienating every last consumer on the face of the earth, I think.

They had it so easy this generation. Activision was the most evil scummy corporation in the industry when this generation started. EA had new IPs and a fresh take on Madden after buying out the NFL license entirely. EA took every bit of goodwill they earned early this gen and flushed it down the toilet by somehow managing to become worse than Activision. Now Activision and Zynga have to battle it out for second place and Sony and MS come out smelling like roses even though they're also getting more steadily anti-consumer. it really is harder to hate those last two in the face of what the other three actively do.

So yeah, I'll be over here with Wii U and Steam for next gen, maybe toss in a Vita to go with the 3DS. It'll be enough.

Tried out a 3DS XL the other day. The resolution is a bit meh, but I might get one later when some new colors come out because I do like the increased screen size and distance i can put between myself and the system. I don't think NSMB2 was really good at showing off the 3D depth, though.

Do DS games look less pixelated and blurry on it? It is one thing that does drive me a bit mad when playing Pokemon.

From my understanding. its pretty much the same as before, but knocking it down to DS resolution actually looks like the DS resolution this time rather than shrunken down to GBA Micro levels.

I had a real sh!77y day today and I pop into my parents andmy dad gives me a game, He said he wasn't sure if it was my kind of game but he saw it and remembered I played the first one when we got our first playstation.

My dad just gave me the broken sword trilogy, It takes me right back to my early teens.
