Sadly the game keeps kicking me out every 2-5 mins, this is something that happens to some people and that has not been solved since launch, so STO is pretty much unplayable for me.

Which is why I hate you for being able to play. And your mustache.

I got shiny new Kid Icarus AR cards yesterday from a small event Gamestop is had yesterday, an event they'll also have next month with new ones. The Nintendo rep gave me like six packs of these cards but sadly they were all the same and not randoms

Well someone gave me a PSP 1000 the other day, all I needed was an AC plug and a mem card, bought the Dual pack for Mega Man and install a custom Firmware, so I could install a few arcade games on it, and use the USB video out function.

spent most of yesterday evening getting all that setup, but finished and it all works great, now I can start building my PSP collection again.

went to a department store on its final day open; didn't get anything but a PSP carrying sack for a buck fifty, I think I'll use that as an excuse to start carrying this around again. I haven't played with it much at all since I got my smart phone

EA responded to rumors today that there were layoffs incoming by saying:

"EA is growing and looking to hire hundreds of people for our digital, console, mobile and social games. Like all game companies, we make occasional adjustments to resize teams as projects are completed and new priorities are established. Overall, we expect that headcount will be up at the end of this year."

That's corporate speak for "Yes, there have been layoffs." The rumored targets were parts of Bioware and Mythic that worked on TOR and a small bit of DICE. It is believed that while TOR did well initially it has failed to meet expectations - seems there's problems keeping players interested in intermediate and high levels which I would see as problematic. For BF3, even though it sold like 14 million copies, it somehow also fell below expectation.

This is actually largely due to the size of the projects and how much it cost to market both. EA's executives, being the noble human souls they are, probably won't be taking paycuts to make up for their own failures.

So yeah, those online passes are real job savers. I also get thte feeling had both games been available on Steam they might have done better, but hey, what do I know?

Ha, just noticed Viridi said "I don't even...that's just so...um...nuh uh!" in Kid Icarus Uprising during my play of that chapter on a harder lever than my first attempt. Must've been too busy trying not to die on my first attempt to notice. Had a huge online video game forum moment when I heard that.
