Unfortunately, Natsume has said that 64 will never be remade/ported.

Animal Parade wasn't too bad, it made some changes that were really nice and some I didn't care for. I kind of liked Save the Homeland which is up for $10 on PSN.

I personally prefered Back to Nature but I would LOVE to see either Friends of Mineral Town or 64 on the Nintendo eStore (Not going to happen and knowing Nintendo it's probably just going to be out in Japan and the US only), or BTN being released as a PSone Classic (Might happen if Natsume allowed it since Sony is pretty good with the PSone Classics and Minis stuff).

Still Rune Factory is pretty fun. I love the old 2D Zelda feel the games have and while they are pretty easy, it is nice to have one of those games you can just sit down and relax to for those times where you just want to switch off for a couple of hours.

I've just had my fourth or fifth encounter with the mechon in Xenoblade.

They start out all evil and silent at first, but there are those that can speak and when they do it hysterical. I couldn't stop laughing at the obnoxious Cockney accents they'd been given. Its as if the effort to speak was entirely done to antagonize their human enemies further. They end up being glorious bastards as a result.

There is a Japanese language option in the game, but after hearing the baddies, I can't bring myself to use it. I don't there have ever been other baddies save for Kefka and GLaDos that have kept a grin on my face when they appear.

Reminds me of one class quest on SWTOR for the Republic Trooper:

For one mission on Tattooine, you're protecting victims of a bombing attack from bomb-carrying protocol droids. They swarm you 5 at a time, and explode quickly enough that it's nearly impossible to kill them all, all while greeting you and asking how they can help in thier ridiculously posh accents. The blast sends you flying away several metres as well so you end up getting punted around like a ragdoll. What's even better is that after waiting to be revived (unless you massively outlevel the content the easiest way to complete the quest is to just let all the droids explode), you can talk to the people who you just exploded next to, who will thank you for protecting them.

All that talk about ME3 made me want to check some of the stuff from ME2 *coughTalicough*. Since I already paid for it a long time ago anyway.

Not to mention apparently they finally patched the game and the mess that is the Cerberus network, so now I can do the cool things like actually saving the game and/or not having Cerberus kicking me out because it doesn't recognize my account.

Did they fix that in Dragon Age Origins? Being kicked out of Dragon Age the second I save my game because I cancelled my Warhammer Online subscription which in turn made my Bioware account go instantly inactive sucks.

I had to play DA:O offline because if I played it online it didn't recognize any of my added content (like Shale):


Haven't tried it lately, but I'll give it a go when I get home in about 3 hours. I still have to play Bard girl's added content.

Sonic Generations is the only good 3D Sonic game and that's only because the true 3D parts are very limited (it's mostly 2.5D) and actually pretty fun.

Sonic Unleashed I liked until you get to the Werewolf sections. Then it's all downhill from there.

I couldn't say about the Wii version. I've only played the DS version, which was pretty cool. But then, in general, nobody questions that the handheld Sonic games are still consistently good.

Personally, I liked Sonic Heroes and really only lament that it's so linear and Team Rose's gameplay is a waste because it has no replay value whatsoever. Sonic Adventure wasn't bad. Just get rid of Big, Gamma, and Amy. Never played Adventure 2 or 2006, though it sounds like I'm only missing out on a travesty by not playing 2006. At least now I have hands on experience that Sonic Unleashed is truly a bad game. That's a shame too. Rooftop Run is one of my favorite Zones in Sonic Generations.

My gripe with Sonic Heroes is that the story was a little bit weak. Nobody seems to be batting any eyelashes at Shadow being alive, and they had a perfectly good chance to reintroduce Super Tails and Super Knuckles but wasted it.

I liked both Gamma and Amy. Sure, she's annoying as all hell but her gameplay is pretty fun, especially with her high jump. Adventure 2 was as good as 1 but lost the Mario 64-style overworld exploration. Tails and Eggman take the place of Gamma so don't think you're rid of that style of gameplay yet.

Colors almost got to the brilliance of 2D to 3D gameplay transitions that Mario has mastered in the Galaxy and 3D Land games, where Colors suffers is on the rather drab underwater 2D levels, which run contrary to the sense of momentum you get on other worlds in the game.

Colors benefitted a great deal from the power ups Mario or Kirby games thrive on, I wouldn't mind seeing more games focused on that than extra characters or gimmicks like transformations. Sonic is about movement and momentum, so he should get power ups in that direction. Leave the acid trip animal transformation to Mario.
