Okay, so one thing I keep hearing different answers on is about the covenants.

I want to join up with a covenant, but I know I may want to join another one later. Does leaving a covenant for another piss off your previous covenant?

I want to avoid doing anything that would require me to absolve my sins by visiting that guy in the church's bell tower, because that costs an obscene amount of souls, and it just keeps going up with my level. :<

Really getting into Disgaea 4 now, loving the story and game play as always. Right now I am at that point where I have alot of the classes and monsters I want to make my "dream team" so I am going to stop on the story for now and do some leveling/reincarnation/skill learning/reincarnation/level..... well you get the point ;p

That and Dragon Ball Z comes out tomorrow, so after I get done with work, I will swing by and pick up my preorder, then head home for some Guy on guy action...... eeerrrrr.... yeah

It doesn't add to your sins if you leave a covenant via the absolution npc on top of the church, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. The only covenant that I'd make sure you got everything from before leaving, or betraying them, would be the Forest Guardian covenant. If you piss them off, you can say goodbye until your next play-through. D:

Regardless, I didn't find having some sin to be all that harmful. Yes, you can get invaded while you're alive, but it's within reasonable level limits, which I believe is about 10 levels or something close.

Right now I'm about to join the Chaos covenant. I read up a little on Quelagg's sister and I feel kind of bad for her. I don't know if I'll be able to make much use out of what she will teach me, but I still want to help her and rank up in the covenant.

The BF3 servers are down, I couldn't even register my Online Pass when I got home...

I'll try again after work tomorrow - going to bed. The campaign is decent, but then anyone who bought BF3 for the campaign, as with CoD, needs their freaking head examined.

Still, it is fun. The visuals are nuts, and I'm really glad I didn't have to download the stupid 1.9 GB HD textures package - that's 360 onry HAH!

If you want to be extremely cheap, and can live through a few of Ceaseless Discharge's attacks, here's the strategy I used on my weaker character.

Cheap-o

Run all the way to where you got the armor, and make sure he makes it over there, then run ALL the way back to the fog gate where you enter (and he engages right away since you stole the armor). He will circle around and try to jump attack you, and all you have to do is basically kick him off the cliff.

As for the Chaos Covenant, it's not really TOO useful until later in the game, as when you reach rank 2, you can unlock a short-cut that allows you to skip fighting the Centipede Demon and I believe you can also skip the Chaos Demon (Basically the Stray demon on steroids). It's a little shortcut to the Bed of Chaos / Lost Izalith, which in itself is a pain in the ass without the shortcut. Personally I play as a Sunbro nowadays, since Great Lightning Spear is awesome, and I enjoy helping with bosses.

Been restless lately waiting for 11.11.11 so started playing LOLVegas more seriously and some Guild Wars (Defender of Ascalon gogogo!)

The only thing I like about NV is Cass, the rest is pretty meh compared to F3, even if they added some Van Buren stuff.

And the Legion is freaking nuts.

I thought you may have been getting him mixed up with another enemy, but when I looked up a video of him just to show a friend how big he is, I saw them basically using the same strategy.

But I may have a tough time of it. Whenever I get too far away, he does that stupid long distance flame attack which sometimes kills me instantly.

I'll give him another shot after I finish clearing out Darkroot Forest/Basin.

And the Chaos covenant has already come in handy for the Chaos fireball. A shame I can only use it four times. I recently learned Pyromancy so I could use Combustion to farm slimes for large titanite shards. I hadn't used Pyromancy yet because I thought unless I was a mage build it wouldn't be worth it. I didn't know Pyromancy wasn't tied to my INT stat. XD

BF3. Fucking it!!! Oh my God, I must have stumbled upon the biggest group of morons ever last night. Wish I had a PVR or Capture card to record it, as I've never gotten that lucky in a BF game before. Was on Def in Rush mode, I forget the name of the map sorry (it's the one where the attackers jump off a landing pad to reach the 3rd base) but anyway, I snuck my way around up the mountains a little outside of their spawning area and I swear they have to have been the biggest idiots ever because I claimed something like 9 Dog tags before someone finally got wise to me.

total of 27 kills that round, at least 9 of which were with the Knife and 7+ on a single life

Reminded me of MW2 a bit - only without the superman lunging.

Score: 3 out of 5. It's fun... but there are only 30 levels or so... and I was finished with the game within 6 hours of installation.
