Before a couple of games come out this next month that I am looking forward to, I am trying my best to wrap up a couple of unfinished games that I was very close to being done with but took a break from.

Right now, I'm finishing up Dragon Age II, and then I'll most likely wrap up Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

Also, in occasional spurts I'm playing Dynasty Warriors 7, Mortal Kombat, and Resident Evil: Mercs 3D.

Been playing a lot of TF2 after installing some neat skins, some of which may or may not be pony-related. I seriously think my sniping has improved ever since I slapped a Twilight Sparkle skin on the rifle.

Also, I regret renting Deus Ex: Human Revolutions... because those two bucks could have gone toward it's purchase. Definitely on par with the original.

Playing DXHR (finally stopped playing Shogun) and just got to China. But I'm advancing very slowly because I tend to get sidetracked trying to explore all the places and hack all the hackable devices in every single place I visit. Also lose a lot of time trying to sneak around people so I don't have to kill them. XD

Well, except for the you-know-who guys. Those I slaughter on sight.


Also trying to make it a non-ratpack run by refusing to upgrade my inventory, I still remember how much freaking time I wasted trying to pick EVERYTHING up in the original.

Let's see how long that lasts.

Playing more of FF4 the after years, currently on Porom's Tale.

It's actually really enjoyable being able to go through these all at once and on the nice shiny PSP graphics, instead of the shitty rendition they did for Wii.

I have to say though, WTF Porom is a hottie O.O;

She looks a lot like Sakura now, which has me puzzled - at what point did she go from short, brown hair & blue yes to long pink hair and green eyes? (and a nice rack :3 )

Playing Duke Nukem Forever right now, getting my dose of Dukeosterone before Dead Island gets here.

I honestly have to say the PC version plays 10x better then the console versions, and once you get past the first few levels, it gets better, lots better.

I think I just blew my "no kill" in DX:HR.

Totally not my fault the guy died. He just had to be standing next to that mech i disabled with an EMP mine, which triggered its self-destruct protocol.

But hey, I saved my pilot, so that's all that matters. I like my rides home.

Even if you do go the "no killing" route, I'd still keep the pistol, revolver and sniper rifles for things like puncturing gas tanks and taking out cameras. EMP grenades are rather hard to come by and the easiest way to take down unwanted mechs, you could use them on cameras, but I'd rather save them for things that can kill me.

Yeah, looks like accidental kills count >.>; So mean.

I finished DX up, totally awesome.

I chose the "Fuck it all" ending first, which in this case is probably the closest to a good ending you could come to and then did the other three.

They've announced the first add-on for October release. Without spoiling anything for those still playing, its basically something that fills a gap in time during the story. Word is for this particular mission you'll be able to re-spec your augmentations, but it may not apply to the rest of another play-through.

A fine choice. I haven't played that many RPGs in my lifetime, but this one definitely has the best plot, pacing, and character development. It's just a shame you'll have to put up with random battles the whole time.

I'm too busy with college to play games Plus I'm trying to learn how to program 2D games so I'd probably just invest my free time there.

Meh, I dunno what to do atm.

I cancelled my Dead Island pre-order because I feel I have enough console games at the moment and Star Fox 64 3D, Bit.Trip Saga and the Ico/SotC collection weren't far off anyway. That and my new roommate moves in soon, so I may wish to consider investing in some headphones.

He's a 1st shifter and I'm a 2nd shifter at the moment, so I don't want to keep him up with my late night gaming.

Sony has a pretty nice wireless headset coming out for $99 this week, but its specifically made for the PS3. I'd love to have something I could use with my Wii or PC as well, though.

My TV does have a headphone jack and I do have some old studio headphones for that, but they're like at least a decade old studio headphones, some old Sony MDR-V150s.

I was looking at some of the Turtle Beach headphones at my GS job (and I do get a discount on headphones, too), but they don't specify if they're 7.1 or not.

Aaaaaand I just checked to see how the V150s did with the Wii. I get some nasty feedback from them occasionally on the PS3 audio through the TV, but not so much with the Wii, so maybe I can just used the wired headphones for the Wii and stand to get something nicer for the PS3 anyway.

Also... 3DS is looking to eat my wallet alive in November. I really only have Zelda and ESV: Skyrim pre-ordered on consoles because that's all I honestly feel I need for November and December. Plus I'll still likely have Dark Souls and Deus Ex stuff to work on.

Finished Deus Ex: Human Revolution on GmDE difficulty. Now for some quick trophy cleanup on Easy now that the hard part is done, then on to some strategy gaming on my PSP with Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (seriously, this has to be the stupidest game title I've seen in years... >_>)

After I get the games I have reserved for this year, I think I might take a break with buying modern games, and go back to my roots.......

I am currently revising my game collection list to include alot of the older system, and I will be playing alot more 8-16 bit games

I dont know what it is, but modern games are starting to.... bore?.... maybe not bore.... eh I just don't know the way to describe it *shrugs*

I will be done with the year (nothing on Vita I want.....yet) and will focus on retro games till something peeks my interest.
