LP2 basically requires that you have 3 friends to co-op with. Don't expect to get much further than the first boss on normal with the idiotic AI teammates.

For now, don't know how much I care for it, its been a while since I did retail and Black Friday was my 2nd day on the job. Its one of those "take what I can get" jobs. Nice if I get somewhere with it, no sweat off my back if it don't.

Yes, if you like bad games, and your level enjoyment scales positively with the quality of the game, then you'll love FNV.

            Fable II and Fable III

I'd already finished and sold back Fable II but recently found a buddy still on their first playthru willing to do some co-op... which is pretty dreadful for the tag-along but still fun. So I bought it off of Xbox On Demand. Side note: you must be in Fable II to accept a invitation to play otherwise you get an error code telling you to buy a different version you cannot find anywhere in the marketplace (3200 M$points - $35-40) Having a lot of fun. I realized just a couple days ago I had not actually completed the See the Future DLC. I must have breezed through it and I missed a lot. It's fun to revisit Albion having been playing Fable III for a bit now.

Fable III could be considered Fable 2.5 by some. It's very similar... but I disagree with this assessment. It stays pretty true to how Fable games have been yet it does change things up on ya a bit. One thing I still think they need to work on is the dog. Thank god I don't have to heal the damn thing anymore but I wish his leading me to treasure was a bit more accurate. I love the new way they do upgrading weapons... very similar to Magian Trials: yet far far less of an unentertaining grind. It can be a very short game if you simply stick to the main storyline but the sidequests are really where Albion shines. The humor and commentary from the sidequests is at times brilliantly funny and stupidly funny. Also you will not be able to "level" your character up if you don't do sidequests. The leveling process is very different from any game experience I've played yet. You still collect xp in the form of "guild seals" and you spend them... but you open chests with this currency along a "Road to Rule". You can only progress down this road if you get through certain points of the main story yet you will not be able to afford unlocking many of the chests if you did not do sidequests for more guild seals. I'm very glad they did away with making people fatter the stronger you were... I really thought that was a very stupid aspect of Fable II. One thing I absolutely abhor about Fable III though is that there is DLC for it... upon launch even. Costumes, dyes, and several other things that should have been in the goddamn game already are available for purchase at the price of $2-3. The DLC quest is a bit more reasonable at $5. But selling a few dyes for $2 is bullshit, imHo. The menu system is pretty neat... a little clunky but still I find it very cool. Instead of a traditional menu, you get a house basically and different rooms correspond to things usually in menus. Weapons room, Clothing room, multiplayer "orb" room, and my favorite the money room. The money you collect is visually represented as a pile... I loved it... only thing better would be able to swim in it a la Scrooge McDuck.

Anyway... I'm having a blast and could keep on going but I got lunch coming so I got to go.

It's basically the same game all over again, only it's totally unplayable in several segments and just riddled with bugs & glitches.

Over the weekend my sister got me to turn off FFXI to play the Plants vs Zombies demo. I lost all awareness of time playing that game, it's surprisingly well designed. Unfortunately I could also see the writing on the wall that the full game would inevitably be filled with gimmicks that would spoil the simple flavor of it all for me.

I'd recommend the demo if you've got two or three hours to kill.

I played it over the weekend and didn't see a single bug or glitch. I did see an awesome NCR vs CL vs Radscorpian fight.

You must not have gotten in far enough. There are bugs galore in several places and a lot of reviews are ripping on the game for it. It still is just a continuation of Fallout 3 though, so I have little to no interest in it anyway. If people are enjoying it then good for them.

A lot of people are ripping on it for crashing, but that's specific to the PS3 version.

I don't know what you mean about gimmicks but I have the full game and its awesome! After you beat all the levels, then a bunch of other stuff opens up so it really has a lot of replay value, imo. I refuse to upgrade my version because I still have the Michael Jackson looking zombie in mine!

I saw flying zombies and plants specifically tailored to take them down.

LOL yes, you get different types of zombies as the levels progress to add to the difficulty. So then they put in plants that help take those types down. You don't always have to use the particular plant though if you plan your strategy right.

I've heard Plants and Zombies is one of the best tower defense games out there. Had a friend who was playing it on their Iphone and they hate tower defense games but said it was pretty good. I'm not into TD games but if MJ was still in it I might be tempted myself.

Regarding Fallout bugs... when has Bethesda ever put out a rpg and there not been any bugs? The Morrowinds and Fallouts they put out will always be plagued by them, unfortunately. I still love their games and still haven't played all the way through Fallout yet. It's just so damn intimidating(ly) expansive. So many hours of gameplay out there for many games I want to play but so few hours I can/should devote to my vidgame recreation/habit. Idk what I'll do when they put out their next Morrowind game... then I'll have 3 of their crazily massive games to play... le sigh.

Since I finished Fable III's storyline and just have gooffing off to do (possibly doing the darkside playthru eventually) and hopefully some MP when I can; I picked up AssCreed II from Amazon for cheap. I loved the first one even though it was fairly redundant gameplay but a very intriguing storyline. I've been wanting to play it for a while and AssCreed III has gotten pretty rave reviews as well. I played for a bit last night and really am enjoying the free-running again.

Picked up Portal for cheap via XBLA as well... gonna replay that gem when I want automated ridicule. God I love that game. My dad played it and said it was "meh"... then he told me he had to play through it with the sound off and I basically had to tell him that was the most bestestest part of the game.
