Now that they seem intent on doing that Ico/SotC compilation pack, or at least they announce it, it might soon be time to sell some of those just to get some good money on them while you still can. I'd do it right before The Last Guardian comes out.

I'd keep an eye on this year's TGS for news of a collection, because after the PS3 version is out the value is only going to drop, particularly considering SotC got a more abundant printing to start with.

A sealed copy of Ico starts at about $90 these days. I'd guess $120 would be the limit for most people, but some really insane people think they can sell it for $500.

I don't quite get how people still sell black label copies of FFVII for $100, though. Some guy thinks his is worth $1,300.

I say its worth $9.99.

Well the multiple copies were really a mistake. I'd buy one in a bargain bin and forget I did and then see another and buy it. Did that a few times obviously. I usually don't sell stuff but I have to say I'm really starting to rethink my stance on keeping shit. My son doesn't seem too interested in inheriting my mess and my daughter would only want it for the $$. So I've been thinking, if he doesn't care, I should sell and start to enjoy the money. But I have to say that its a daunting task, my collection is pretty damn big and just thinking of listing all that shit on Ebay makes me want to leave it right where it is.

I'm starting to lean toward "Keep handheld stuff, eventually sell console stuff" in the long run.

Because whatever was a console game seems to eventually get a new lease on life on handhelds or, at the very least, Steam.

I'd prioritize what you know is going to have value first and work slowly from there. For anyone that has a PSP or PS3, you know a copy of FFVII will be a hard sell, or very slow at best. Ico? There are lots of people that have only heard about it and would like to play it.

Hardcore gamers are, after all, generally dumb with money. They want to feel in-the-loop when something like Ico comes up and for that they will pay. That's not something the people that play Farmville do, they spend the extra money for their own enjoyment, not to have a place in a forum conversation.

FFVII's price didn't change that badly when the PSN version came out, I heard some people were actually making more because it renewed interest in the game. I managed to pocket $35 for my used, greatest hits copy; I planned to buy the PSN version, though I doubt I'll do that now that I've found that black label. A game store near here is still selling used copies for over $50.

And TGM, if you ever wanted an adoptive son, you know who to turn to. But yeah, do what you enjoy; if you enjoy collecting, then do that, if you'd rather enjoy a cruise or something do it. Life's short.

Also, I don't know about $90 for Ico, considering I wouldn't be keeping it sealed, but I could see favors.

This falls under the "Hardcore gamers are stupid with money" clause. Collectors fall under it.

This clause is bound by what is unfortunately sound, invincible logic and it is not a clause of my own creation. The creator himself had to admit his own stupidity.

I found this to be particularly fun. It's free, to boot, which makes it all the better. It's a lot like L4D, but it's definitely got enough style to make it stand out.

Finished Metroid Fusion at 2:27 and still got a helmet-off ending. I think Fusion set its criteria lower than the the installments. Decided to stop beating the Prime games to death and give them a rest for now, so I can focus on a new Super Metroid run.

I lost interest in White Knight Chronicles. but in a good way, the second one is coming (already out in Japan) and it reqiures a finished save file from the first game. Good part? WKC 2 comes with the first game, polished up with the second ones new systems.

I am still looking for a second GunCon 3 for my PS3 and 2 HD GunCons for my PS2, so I can have my Time Crisis run, I now have TC 2/3/4 and I want to play them all ;p

Going back to Resistance, then move on to Resistance 2
