Ya the heat has been preventing me from playing FFIX. Can't concentrate, can't sit downstairs for long lengths of time, ....god I can't wait for fall weather! I will persevere! Vivi is too darn cute to abandon!

Super Mario Kart, via VC. I have the gold trophies for each cup barring 150cc Special Cup (which, by some miracle, I did manage to get the silver for).

Freaking Donut Plains 3. I mean, it's no Rainbow Road, but dang, and it's the first freaking track in the cup! Though, I suppose it could be worse if it were, like, the 4th or something, because I could always just go Start-Yes-End if I screw up without worrying about losing the rest of my progress in the cup.

Also, freaking Koopa Troopa. Why the heck are you always in the lead? It's almost like unless I take initiative to screw up the order myself, the computer-controlled characters always line up Koopa, DK Jr., Princess, Bowser, Toad, Mario, Luigi (I'm Yoshi, natch), maybe with Toad and Mario switching 6th and 7th every now and again.

NSMBWii can wait. Kinda burned out after failing, repeatedly, to get the last dang Star Coin in World 5-4 (freaking moving log platform that stops with 5+ items on it - and of course, it's raining enemies).

ADD: Also been trying to finish up FFXII:RW after forever. Turns out I'm stuck in the middle of a ten-part dungeon. That's always fun . . .

Maybe I should consider changing game disks/cards and try to finish something else. Maybe. Only problem with that being it still leaves the current game disk/card yet unfinished . . .

Finished Assassin's Creed for the PSP over the weekend and started playing Valhalla Knights.

Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition and Persona 3 are mostly what I've played in the last few week.

RE4 more or less has become the reason I'm always creeped out when I see Amish people now. I'm watching the first season of the X-files, the one with the Amish-type "Kindred" in it. I keep expecting some jibber-jabber version of Spanish to keep

I don't know why someone would keep muttering "Cogedlo" and "Morir es vivir" over and over again, but I guess that's what makes it so creepy.

Kinda makes me want to play RE5, but I want to wait and see if we get that RE5 Move Bundle Japan is getting. I doubt it. That would actually sell me on Move because it the motion control works so well in the RE4 Wii edition. Maybe just a little too accurate in some respects, but it feels just a smidge harder than what I remember.

3D Dot Game Heroes - I'm not very far at all (proly the 3rd underground) but enjoying the ride so far. I'm really enjoying basically discovering a new land very similar to the old Zelda games. The character generator intimidated the hell outta me after futzing around for 30 min... I decided the generic hero with different eyes was good enough. I love their concept on the sword. It being better by taking up more space and thus possibly killing more enemies, is simple-genius.

God of War II & God of War III - I was playing catch up to games I shoulda played but wasn't able to devote that much time to that cause while in college.... the GoW series was on my list. After beating myself up playing the first two I really don't know if I actually want to play the third. I like stories GoW wasn't keeping me satiated... yeah it's a hack n slash but still... after completing II I realized during the opening lvls of GoWIII all it was gonna be is: Kratos hates so and so… Kratos must get such and such to beat so and so… To get such and such Kratos must get past this and that… Kratos f’s up and does another stupid thing that makes it possible for another sequel to get such an such beyond this and that to kill so and so. Rinse wash repeat. That and realizing I'm not very good at these games (or at least on the turtling aspect).. I just don't know if I want to even play GoWIII ... quite frankly I don't know if my controller can take the abuse. There were times I was using curses for the gods and SantaMonica that would make Kratos blush.

Transformers WoC - Excellent game so far. I've beaten the Decepticon campaign and am moving on to the Autobots. The game really does give alot of incredible moments both visually and nostalgically. Playing MP is actually pretty fun. I'm getting my ass handed to me but it's still pretty fun. I'm usually not a fan of the online MP of shooters but this one is just damn fun.

Crackdown2 - I'm not very far cuz I've mainly been playing the others above... but so far it's basically Crackdown1 2.0 ... the first CDown was pretty fun... and the more I get my agent to lvl up, I'm sure the more I'll enjoy it. GD them agility orbs though...

House of the Dead Overkill - Oh lord Yahtzee wasn't kidding, this game is TOTALLY over the top. They could tone down the F Bombs a bit, but otherwise it's cheesy goodness. I love the way the announcer says "Goooooooregasm!" XD Mindless, stupid fun (though combos get broken way too easily I find)


Lufia 2 is on hold until I feel like finishing it, same with Cursed Mountain (which is better than I thought it would be but oh my God if ever there was a game that made me want to rage at my Wiimote... the motions for banishing ghosts are beyond over-sensitive, it's just retarded)

The last game I've started recently is Okami, and oh WOW wtf was I waiting for? Very creative, has a bit of the usual Wii-mote jankiness to it when it comes to using the Brush but otherwise I absolutely adore this game. Beautiful art style (funny as it's very close to Viewtiful Joe, but done tastefully) interesting enough plot, and it's just fun in general. I Amaterasu

o. O they even tossed in some brief nudity, as in a couple of scenes with Sakuya (I think that's her name? The Tree Spirit that you meet in the beginning) the camera pans behind her and for whatever reason, her kimono is open in the back and you can see her ass.... o. O intentional or ???

This would be funny if all of broadcasted news wasn't a joke. Its just as likely to get Hillary Clinton's panties in a wad as anyone else.

Games are scary to people that don't want to understand them. You can thank EA's upcoming Medal of Honor game for giving the media the next circus over games. Playable Al'Qaeda was a really fucking smart move. Just wait and watch what happens with that powderkeg.

I'm not seeing the problem either way. Its rated T for "Suggestive themes." You're acting like its explicit sexual content. The more powerful she gets, the less she wears.

They put the ratings on both the front and back of a games cover, as well as the disc itself, not really hard to miss.

Some people are offended by sexuality, so they'll complain regardless of what the game is rated. I personally don't see the problem with it.
