These games just dont have enough material for me to enjoy, and the other players are more often than not more trouble than theyre worth.

Also, I've begun to really like the Launchers. Didn't care for them before, with with Scavenger Pro and a P90 main holy shit... the hard part is deciding between Danger Close or Stopping Power Pro.

Everything in that game is designed around giving you EXP and guns.The EXP is for leveling, and the guns are for getting EXP. Once you hit level 50, you don't need EXP anymore, and then you don't need guns. And, then you're bored.

The co-op doesn't save it either. Drop-in and drop-out game-play involving prerequisites? Somebody was on drugs when they came up with that.

I don't mind the whole "party members upgrade weapons on their own" system. I actually think it's kind of nice that I don't have to worry about buying and upgrading equipment for 30 people myself. What really bothers me though is that they did not add an option to just hand items over from my inventory to theirs. I can have 100 of the item they want sitting in my inventory, but I am still forced to go out and harvest or kill enemies for the item to drop so they can decide to take it. What fucking douche bag at SE decided this was a good idea?

Aside from that I am really enjoying the game and I haven't played a JRPG with so much freedom in a long time. I don't even remember what my actually storyline objective is right now because I have been running around doing sidequests and trying to upgrade all my gear as much as possible for the past couple of days.

I finally hit the point in Chrono Cross where the plot gets interesting (Dead Sea.)

Me and a friend started Re:Chain of Memories as well, loving the remake so much.

Almost got every single secret report in 358/2 Days. Missing like 12 Challenge Sigils and I'll have Ultima Weapon.

Re: Chain of Memories is crazy stuff. I think the shift to 3D made general combat almost too easy because they had to throw a new set of fancy-looking slights to show off.

Wonderland level is still a pain, though.

Picked Devil Summoner 2 back up and finished the remainder of it. That Dell job I had knocked me off track from finishing it. Thankfully the characters are so memorable, verbose and the chapters of the game so episodic that I never felt like I had lost track of the story. Both PS2 Devil Summoners like to start you out with a few capers before linking everything together in a big story

DS2 had a shit ton more to do than the first PS2 Devil Summoner. And all of it vastly improved. They could have just reused all the old areas from the old game, but they added 50% more areas and made all of them relevant, so you had a huge area to cover. And some hidden endgame stuff too.

I guess the only gripe I had was taking away the elemental bullets seemed pointless since there were so few gun-based spells to gain from your demons and so many sword-ones. The gun was good for stunning enemies, but that's about it. The gun was useful for exploiting weaknesses last time around. Yeah, I can do it with spells, but still.

At the end, my team was Fenrir and Susano-o. I got the Law ending. I'll try for Chaos next time.

Just bought a DSi and Kirby Super Star Ultra. Did they improve the AI Helper AI in the game? Because I don't remember Waddle Dee ever doing anything but standing around on the SNES version LOL. Before I stopped playing yesterday, I had unlocked the 1st set of games, Dynablade and the Cave Offensive. I have an itch to try to pick up a copy of Disgaea DS since I was never able to play the first game.

I never finished Disgaea myself since I only got to play it on a friend's system, but I would highly recommend it in any form you can get your hands on.

The helpers in Super Star were never anything spectacular, much better to just grab a younger sibling and hand them a controller in my experience.

Has anybody who's played MW2 suspected that the game isn't loading enemy models? I've suspected that for a long time; time after time I'm killed and the cam always shows me the perspective of somebody who should've been easy to spot. Well, earlier, I peered out of one of my favorite camping spots and began firing on a target who's at about medium range. He's not looking at me, but immediately I'm taking damage. I kill him, and immediately die, but the kill cam is from the perspective of somebody standing directly next to my target and even shows somebody else there as well. I'm not sure how I could have missed that. Earlier I was roaming around with my nomad spec and, as I entered a room, I immediately checked the usual camper's spot. Nothing. Oh wait, I see a muzzle flash and a bullet come flying out of the corner and I'm dead. Apparently a sniper had been sitting there.

Am I going crazy? I write this knowing full well that anywhere else I'd probably be called a noob and told to L2P. Feel free to do that.

Other than that I'm having the usual problems. Taking cover, then being pulled out from behind it, dead, is the most common. I wish I could find out if I'm doing this to other people, because I'm pretty sure it's just lag. Occasionally, my guns become extremely inconsistent. I've unlocked every attachment for the M4A1, so you can be sure that I know how to use it, but every once in a while it just kicks like nothing else. One moment I'm firing at a target, the next I'm firing at the sky. Earlier, I came around a corner with my beloved AA-12 and put two shells into somebody standing not a foot away, yet he still killed me. The AA-12 is a monster at close range, one shot is almost always enough. Two shots are only ever necessary if I'm slightly farther away, but up close two could probably kill a rhino, or elephant, or whale or something.

Oh, and one more thing. Has anybody noticed other players running around while crouched? I'm not even sure it's crouched, because it looks awfully uncomfortable, but they're low and they're fast. I don't know what it is, but I report it as cheating. Shit, it could be another problem on my end with displaying enemy models, who knows?

I never quite understood how bad sportsmanship became such a norm for these sorts of online games. Didn't Microsoft/Bungie even say how they felt trash talking your opponent was part of the Halo experience?

Regardless, it's why I can't bring myself to play online FPS.

Ya its a server hack. I thought they did an update for it though. I'd throw up if I ran that fast. lol
