Getting a super ribbon in Dissidia is making me want to pull my f'ing hair out atm.

Ugh, I need it so I can complete Zidane's THF build and get some proper items BUT IT WON'T DROP. Thankfully I'm starting to get the hang of dodge canceling and infinites (still can't get used to Return Dodges though, particularly for Zidane's Vortex Infinite or the amazing "Ehx" combo.

Just finished SIlent Hill 2 (doing campagin battle in FFXI while playing so its taking me alot longer to beat) Starting Silent Hill 3 and then moving on to 4, and may even play 5 again as well, unless I get the merit points I want before then.

Downloaded Prinny and Thexder Neo for PSP off PSN today, then Dragon Quest Wars for DSi. All are pretty fun games and a steal considering it cost me $25 total for all three.

Thexder Neo is pretty hardcore stuff. One life, no saves save for record keeping. You're a mech that can trasform into a space ship and fly about. Energy management and avoiding damage seem to be the name of the game to survive, yet, all actions you take expend energy and you also lose it for taking damage, so that's where it gets tricky. Green orbs expand your max energy, red orbs replenish energy.

Dragon Quest Wars is is a collaboration between Nintendo's Intelligent Systems crew and SE. Instead of apeing the designs of Fire Emblem or Advance Wars, this one is more chess like with six DQ monsters being your units. HP max for a unit is like 3. and the boards are about the size of a chess board, so this is a game about playing it smart and fast. It also supports 2-4 players over Nintendo Wi-Fi. Not bad for a $5.

Prinny is fun and cute, but the controls are a bit rough. Sometimes Prinny ends up jumping like an 8-bit Simon Belmont, but otherwise its fairly fun. I'll probably download the bonus levels down the road, at least the Flonne one. $3.99 for each bonus level is a bit steep. Then again, considering this still retails for $40, PSN gamers are getting a real deal with the original version of the game being $9.99.

Just finished the Story Mode of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days on the train ride into work this morning. Only managed to unlock Donald Duck, Goofy, Xion, and Riku as playable characters on the first play through though. The others are Ok, but Donald Duck happens to be one of the few Disney characters I really, really like. So that is a treat to be able to play him in Kingdom Hearts.

One minor complaint: I'm getting tired of seeing Agrabah, Halloween Town, and Olympus Coloseum in every one of the games. Olympus Coloseum is almost forgivable since it was really expanded upon in Kingdom Hearts II, but enough with them already.

actually, he's exactly like 8-bit Simon, but with a double jump. Whatever direction you're holding when he takes off (or begins his double jump) is the direction he'll travel in. There is no left or right adjustment; which makes it all the more frustrating. It's not a jumping mechanic I like, but it is a logically valid one (really, why SHOULD you be able to move feet back or forth while in the air? You don't have air brakes. Then again, maybe penguin wings should... nevermind, tangent). And it certainly doesn't make the game impossible, just much more about getting your timing right in the first place instead of making small corrections. The controls take getting used to, but other than being painful after an hour of play or so, it's not bad, just different than most people'd like.

I mean its bad enough that they have him in the game, even worse that he's driving the chopper, but then they decided to add the forklift... WHY SEGA????? WHY?

I originally watched the video on gametrailers, and somebody commented "I will never understand why Sonic needs a car."

Started playing FF:Tactics on the PSP. I still have the original PS1 version floating around somewhere in the house, but I didn't feel like tracking it down. I never finished the original version and I don't even remember why.

I still have my gamegear, Genesis, CD & 32X lol (never got a Saturn though and I sold my Dream Cast when I couldn't find any copies of the games I wanted or any controllers even on Ebay )

I think my mom still has my Game Gear, I have my old Gameboy Color, my NES, PS1, PS2, Xbox and Gamecube still as throwback systems. I also have a used Gameboy Advance that I bought a long time ago and never really used. Sold the Dreamcast and N64 back in 2004 iirc. Traded in my SNES and games for Funcoland (Now Gamestop) in-store credit to buy a PS1, Bloody Roar 2, and WWF Attitude back in 1996 or 97. I used to own my brother's Magnavox Odyssey and a Atari (don't remember which series) My mom got rid of those and the games a few years back.
