Looking to try Star Ocean: Last Hope or Tales of Vesperia now that I'm finished with Resident Evil 5 (to hell with the "War Hero" trophy. Let the masochists have their fun with that one)

I enjoyed Vesperia's Characters and Story more, but I have to give SO4 the more fun battle system. Just turn off the voices if they really annoy you.

Beat the game at Edge 64, Meracle 64, Sarah 61 and Reimi 63. Everyone died at least once, except Sarah who some how took pretty much no damage (Stay out of Trouble tactic with everything turned off but healing spells is great). Tried the Seven Stars Dungeon (Gabriel's) and proceeded to get rocked by the first mob encounter . Getting hit for 2-3k isn't fun.

Welch is easily my favorite character. the CS for her first encounter with each of the new party members ("Those ears, that tail! I feel like I stepped into an Anime convention!")

Well Mal, I'll give you my opinion. I own both and I'd have to say I enjoy Tales far more than SO. Tales is your traditional JRPG where SO tries to tweak it with the battle system and is a more slick game graphically. I've always been a Tales fan and Vesperia really goes back to some of the old roots which make it a good game. And you can probably pick up a used copy of Tales for a decent price now too! lol

And I'm still playing Persona 3 and 4 undubed with some X-2 (undubed too).

And it doesn't look like the fun is going to end anytime soon.

Got that package, finally. Brave Story: New Traveler; great little RPG. Not winning any points for originality, but just fine if you're not expecting anything mindblowing. Bit of a tendency to talk your ears off, but circle makes for a handy way to work through it.

Also got Crazy Taxi. Great memories. And custom soundtrack support + arcadey title is win.

I was supposed to save a little girl from certain doom, but the feeble old priest I'm playing as sucks it up in melee and the girl moves slower than the shambling dead people we're trying to escape from. Oh yeah, and we have to run the gauntlet through an entire graveyard full of them. Whoo!

Valkyria Chronicles.

Damn fun game, but challenging. Has a very Skies of Arcadia feel to it. Doesn't surprise me, since it's made by Sega.

Finally got back to playing Mugen no Frontier again, so hopefully I can finish that up soon.

Still haven't bought SO4 unfortunately. I am forcing myself not to buy it until I finish Wild Arms 5, but I hit one of those "fight this boss solo with a character you've neglected the entire game" fights, so I am rather upset at that game right now.

I'll probably end up just getting SO4 and going back to Wild Arms 5 after I put 8 bajillion hours into it.

Also picked up GTA Chinatown Wars, its pretty good!

Resident Evil 5. Beat it on Normal, Vet, and Professional, so now I'm just helping my friends beat it themselves. Damn fun game.

FFXI obviously
Golden Sun 2 (3rd playthrough)
Final Fantasy V (8th playthrough or something like that)
Empire:Total War (2nd playthrough)
Disgaea 3
Resident Evil 5 (2nd playthrough)
Rock Band (Since it's the only game with any good local multiplayer now)
Star Ocean Second Evolution (rRght now as I type this)
Final Fantasy Tactics (PSP version)

I'm generally hopping between the games o nthat list. If I get bored while playing one I'll quickly switch to another. That way the games stay fresh to me for longer

My current playthrough of E:TW is fun. Playing as Britain and I actually managed to prevent the American Revolution (which is painfully easy to cause if you don't keep the Thirteen colonies happy) so the Thirteen Colonies agree to join my Empire instead of just staying a protectorate and I've just finished kicking the French out of America for good. I'm gaining something like 20k a turn due to trade from America alone so you can probably guess what kind of Army and Navy that allows me to field. Right now I've got armies stomping across India and I'm halfway through kicking the Spanish out of Central America.
