Re: What games are you currently playing?
With homebrew installed, I've got a USB launcher working. My living room looks so much cleaner when DVDs are actually on the DVD shelf. Also took the opportunity to try out some import games I couldn't otherwise; looks like Wii actually has fun gundam games. Gonna give Xenoblade a shot tomorrow.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Mal, I don't expect intelligent responses from you, so I'm not surprised here.
22" HDTV is ideal for my room and anything over 24" or 26" would have taken up too much space. I wanted 1080p and LED and there wasn't anything with those specifics that was available in my area between 24 and 32" and in my price range. Turns out 32" would have been too large. I would have had to move things into the living room.
I happen to like my gaming setup to be not too far from my PC, I like to have my PC in my room. Also, since I'm renting out the other room, I like the other rooms to look like they're something a real, prospective roommate could fill things with. By the same token, to prospective looters (which like to pose as propective roommates in my area) it doesn't look like I have that much.Last edited by Omgwtfbbqkitten; 08-03-2010, 11:45 AM.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I still have a Fullscreen Tube TV in my bedroom, but since usually I'm in the basement on my 23.5" Monitor or 42" HDTV the only time my bedroom TV is on is when I'm sleep. (Waste of electricity, but yeah I leave the TV on when I sleep lol) . It is starting to die though (It is like 10 years old LMAO), so I will probably pick up a 20"+ HDTV either this christmas or early next year after I get my taxes back.{New Sig in the works}

Also, the night light would have to be battery operated, almost all of the plugs in my room are blocked by something (Dressers, bed, etc.) so I most likely wouldn't be able to see the light anyways. I have enough issues with motion activated things as it is, I don't know how many times my alarm clock turned itself off because my arm was in front of the sensor while I was sleep.
TL;DR: Can't sleep without the TV on{New Sig in the works}

There wasn't a 22" 720p with LED in any of the stores I checked for the price I wanted, trust me, I spent about five hours looking. There was a 22" 1080p LCD/LED for my asking price, so I got that.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I am currently playing Deadly Premonition for the 360.... omg its bad on most everything but the open world concept and story ;p but I still like it ^.^ It's part of my Survival Horror Collection, and I was able to get it for under 20 bucks, so *shrugs*-------------------------------------------------------------------------

1080p charted: Viewing distance to screen size -- Engadget HD
A 1080p 22" screen has to be viewed from a distance of less than 2 feet for the difference in resolution to be at all perceptible even if you're looking.
I can attest to this from personal experience - the PC I'm typing this on has a 21" 1680x1050 screen LCD screen.
You probably could have saved yourself a bundle by looking a little harder and picking up a 720p TV at that size.
