Beside the music hows the game?

There's quite a few side-quests if you're into stuff like that, as well as farming and fishing. The story was alright, a tad confusing for a bit but in the end you have a clear picture of what went on. The combat is fun, though greatswords attack like you're trying to swing a heavy couch (Lances for the win).

I'd have to say the game is pretty easy, but I loved the hell out of it.

I've not played much of the game but it feels a lot like a darker version of Zelda. It's also a Japanese game with a protagonist who is actually an adult so it is both a rare thing and quite a nice change.

Picked up L4D2, again.

The Passing is extremely difficult, and we were only playing it on advanced. I played through a few of the other campaigns on expert and they weren't nearly as hard. First, I was attacked by three Hunters within five seconds. Those bastards are like raptors; you think that just because you spot one before it attacks you must have the advantage, but no, you just activated that mother fucker's trap card. SIDE POUNCE, GO.

I've also noticed that they simply spawn special infected on top of certain players in a concentrated effort to kill them. Maybe you ran ahead, or falling behind, or you're just the designated target. They will spawn around a corner, through a door, on a nearby roof, and bee-line to you. They will do this repeatedly. If anything, it forces you to stay in a group, but it gets old pretty quickly when the game is churning out special infected just to destroy you. This is why I play Versus most of the time, it's a lot more fair when it comes to respawn time and players typically aren't aim-botting AI.

L4D2 is ruined by cheaters. I've been noticing all this small shit, stuff that might be coincidence, but I see it more and more

I just played a team with a friend of mine on versus, and their spitter killed our entire team on the second tick of damage from the spit. It was well timed, because we were all knocked back from a charge, but since spit doesn't affect while while you're getting back on your feet it wasn't a problem. I stand up, green health, next thing I know I'm dead. Next thing I know, the whole team is dead. No fucking way.

When they played as the survivors one always knew where I was. If I spawned near him he would immediately turn around and wait for me to appear. Another was invulnerable to the smoker's tongue, and the whole team ran past the witch without her making a sound.

I'm betting the whole team knew each other, or at least two or three members did.

And I just realized something, every time our tank spawned it spawned on fire. I didn't think much of it because it was Dead Center and on the first map the tank spawned in the portion where there's fire everywhere. But the next two times every single person who became the tank complained of starting on fire.

Any games that require teamwork are always "ruined" by teams that practice together. Pubbies have next to no chance in those cases.

Aww, that just means you're going to have to buy it when it comes out now...

Juggling Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, Zelda: TP, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia and Persona PSP. And Monster Hunter Tri. And Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom. And Dracula X: Rondo of Blood.

Can you tell I'm having fun with the Wii yet?

Yeah, I pretty much sold all my PS2 stuff, I have moved on.

I know what you are feeling. Love the story, love the art style, love the voice acting but the gameplay is horrible. Most of the game is about combat and the combat feels stiff and unresponsive.

God, I still need to set up my Wii. I bought a brand new black one on the weekend, just need to download Super Metroid and I'm all set.
