Also, do you get locked into low profile, pseudo-CS mode and miss perfect assasxxxxtion opportunites (or at least 1watch innocents get slaughtered that could've easily been avoided)?
Happened to me a couple of times, but it was my own bad button presses and distance judgement to blame. I accidently killed a random guy while waiting on my target to walk by me >_<. . I rarely used the eagle vision on the first game, but I used it alot on this one, it came in handy for a few assasxxxxtions.

In the first game, you arrive at the spot marked on your map as the general location of your target. Once you get near, you get to see this asshole in top form. Usually randomly killing or maiming people. Meanwhile, you look from afar and have no character control except to walk the edges of the crowd. So even if you'd like to leap out and take him down when he's 3' away from you with no guards near, the game won't let you.

After beating KH 359/2 and the Sora Side of Re: CoM, I'm now on Riku's story. It was a pleasure slaughtering Marluxia with the deck I built. Didn't like how he could blow my cards all over the area, though.
I finished the Sora story on the GBA version, but never got around to beating Riku's path even though I saw most of it. I like the challenge of the Riku path and the different rules he has to go by, I just kinda wish I was allowed to do some deck-building like in the Sora path.
Went to my sister's place today to get a haircut and her husband had Modern Warfare 2 installed on his PC, so I decided to try it out. 4 hours later, finished the game. Was fun while it lasted, glad I didn't spend any money on it though.
Finally got past Trickmaster in Chain of Memories on Riku. Damn that guy was more annoying than he was in the GBA version. Thing was they rigged it so you'd have to use Duels to fight up, there was no other way to do it because they stick you with a nine card deck and nothing higher than a five in it.

MW2's real value is in the multiplayer, which PC got screwed on big time.
Glad I only rented Uncharted: Drake's Fortune as I beat it in a day > _ >
Now, it was still a masterpiece and I loved every minute of it, but shit it was rather short in hindsight. Working on Left 4 Dead 2 achievements since I gotta bring the game back today
Man, I did not realize I had come so close to finishing the GBA version of this path before. I got all the way to Ansem and then never finished for some reason. He was an even bigger asshole here. I beat him without even going into D-Mode, ha.
Noticed Ninja Blade got ported to the PC. I hadn't heard anything good about it, but it was by From Software and they haven't let me down yet so I decided it was worth a shot.
Admittedly, it's a shitty port. It's obvious it was done in a rush, there are tons of bugs and all the button commands were left as 360 controller buttons. The game has a lot of QTEs and the visuals for those were also left as 360 buttons, but they added some text to let you know what the keyboard equivalent is.
Shitty port job aside, I love this game and From Software may officially be my favorite developer now. Played it straight from beginning to end, about 11 hours total. Almost broke my personal record. I'll probably buy the 360 version next time I get the chance, but I don't think it would matter if I didn't. Pretty sure it's been for sale at a discount price of $6 or so and no way in hell am I paying $30 for the shitty PC port.
I'm back on Demon's Souls, and I'm trying to get some co-op in with a friend.
I had an all-around character last time, so I could handle anything, but this time I'm going pure melee. I'm trying to decide which weapons I want to use, and how I want to spend my colorless demon souls. Using a normal long sword is pretty much the easiest way to do it, due to its flexibility, but I'd like to give large weapons a try. They're slow, but they certainly look cool, and they're pretty effective in large spaces to boot. Of course they're useless in small spaces, but they also give up the ability to parry, riposte, and back-stab, all of which I'm attempting to master and each of which is proving to be rather challenging. I think they both may be useful in different situations. Critical hits don't work on bosses, so a weapon that couldn't do that in the first place wouldn't set me back. Most large weapons are also slashing, which should give me ample opportunity to hit the bosses. I tried a spear once, and it didn't turn out too well because spears have a very narrow thrust. Its easy to miss with.
Has anyone been playing Wet? Double entrendre... ent.... fuck. Sexual euphemism aside, it's pretty neat in theory. It's basically Kill Bill, the video game.
Except, it feels like it was made by people who've never played a video game. Checkpoints are random, load times are long, death sequence is long + need to reload = every time you fail a jump, you wait 40 seconds to try again (and it has LOTS of platforming segments to screw this up).
You know those "challenges" every game is keen on? Like Spider-Man rushing through town hitting all the rings in a time limit?
Yeah, Wet made completing those challenges necessary 'cuz they didn't know what else to do to extend their game time.
I find myself frequently saying "I hope this is the last stage" and generally not even enjoying my playtime.
I just turned it off after mashing X to skip a cutscene (which you about have to do with all of them being like 3 parts and their "can skip" trigger being 1-Mississippi into each part) and having the last X carry over into gameplay -- which made me leap to my doom and have to subject myself to load times again.
But with Uncharted 2 unopened next to me, I've been playing Wet with the mindset of "have to get through this before I can start Uncharted". I think I'ma move on and come back to Wet when I'm less irritable.
