I'm currently trying to find away to abolish Trabia Garden's "random" rule for Triple Triad.

It's not that hard.

Just make sure to NEVER allow rules to be mixed in Balamb Garden, because it's the only zone with a "pure" Open rule set by default.

Already found a LP that covered rule abolishment much more thoroughly. You just need Balamb mobile or access to Ragnarok and then you bounce between Deling City, Dollet and Winhill, which manage to have people from all regions in the game.

And yes, its not that hard. It is, however, a massive time sink reliant on randomness, managing multiple saves and doing hard resets of the game to undo various rules. That is frustrating, especially considering PSOne Classic emulation lacks things like save states. I have to execute multiple steps to hard reset to disc 3. The controller reset option is still coded in there, but on the PS Vita you'd have to play Finger Twister to do a hard reset.

Thankfully with Mug, Card, all refining abilities and the SPR and SPD stats unlocked, I have a constant influx of magic to junction into stats anyway so I can just fix this TT rule stuff as I go.

Go for Froakie or Chespin. You get a free Torchic with Speed Boost so the fire starter is pretty redundant.

I was talking from a purely ingame perspective, and Blaziken isn't banned on Nintendo's Wi-Fi, it's just banned by the competitive battling community and for good reason. Give it a Life Orb to hold, Swords Dance, Protect, Fire Blitz and Hi Jump Kick for moves and max out Attack and Speed EVs and you have something that is only really countered by Giratina, Gliscor, Lugia and a couple of Arceus Types. And Giratina is the only hard counter of the group. it's basically why it's put into Ubers since only Ubers can really stand up to the thing.

Plus you also get one of the original starters as a gift in the first hour of the game, with a free Mega Evolution Stone. I'm currently tearing it up with Frogadier, Pikachu, Charmeleon and Combusken. Though to be fair I haven't needed the chicken at all really.

New game feature: Exp Share is now a Key Item and the XP is shared for the whole team. It essentially is something that you toggle on and off for when you want to split the XP. It's exactly as awesome as it sounds since the game keeps the XP system from Gen V.

This weekend I dusted off Torchlight and the minion build is way more successful this time around since I know what I'm doing. However I shall remain skeptical until the final boss because I'm convinced he is complete bullshit.

I was just watching a live stream of someone playing MGS on twitch and the guy playing just feels the need to, on occasion, insert Christian Bale's Batman over things Solid Snake says. Its hard to stop laughing when I think about it. Hayter's Snake isn't as bad as Bale's Batman voice was, but just imagining Bale as Snake is kind of funny.

Deep Sea Research Center is still the pits, but getting Eden is that last thing on to my to-do list before finishing Disc 3 in FFVIII.

Finished Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Final Remix on Normal. Working on a Proud mode playthrough now (because some clown at Square-Enix thought it'd be amusing to not like the Easy / Normal / Proud completion trophies so you need 3 complete playthroughs for trophies... lol). Not that I mind that much because I just enjoy KH. KH 1.5 is significantly more difficult than I remember KH1 being. Also, gummi ship missions are the devil.

Playing Velocity Ultra on PS Vita. Fantastic little shmup with a neat teleportation mechanic.

Not playing anything much on PC at the moment, aside from Cookie Clicker (but that's barely a game ).

Yep, No-Enc is a no-go down there.

That said, I did start playing with my GFs again, just because I hadn't seen them since Disc 1. I have all my ultimate weapons now, Even though was really just aiming to get Lionheart, I managed to unlock the rest along the way. Now I just need to draw or refine a lot of Holy and Ultima, draw Eden out of the Omega Weapon and then I can just plow through to the end.

Probably going to play through Soul Hackers and Parasite Eve next. Seem like good fits for this time of year. I would have gone with Castlevania: SOTN, but I already did it earlier this year, though I guess I could finish my Richter run. I should probably get Dracula X Chronicles sometime so I can just play that version instead. That version has the Maria boss fight, right?

Every time I finish a chapter in Remember Me I feel like a terrible person for doing so.

This game has a lot of flaws, but it really knocks it out of the park in some aspects.
