It's also a lot cheaper to import games from the UK as well. While the 2 week wait isn't super fun times (avoiding spoilers for Bioshock Infinite was difficult), saving $40-$50 for a new game is definitely worth it (Far Cry 3 is still $100 on PSN and XBox Live).

As for the small breast ban, I don't think it passed and yes, the reason was indeed idiotic.

They gave Wizard a Force Choke. It's like I didn't even leave SWTOR.

I've completed Bioshock Infinite. I'm disappointed in pretty much the entire game. It's convoluted for the sake of being convoluted. Where it isn't convoluted, it's simply nonsense. The game was excessively buggy, to boot.

I found a timeline of the game and, after reading it, I think my opinion has changed. Laid out in front of me, it seems elegant, but presented to me in-game, it seemed convoluted. I'm still disappointed, but less so.

At least with Vesperia you could use Grade to get all kinds of advantages in new game plus; the bonuses you get from the merit awards are laughable in comparison (and while the overall game is amazing, the AI for your allies is just atrocious)

Come on, the dozens of reveals at the end of the game were pretty lame. The whole business with the Vox Populi was pointless.

If you like it then let me know anyway. I've been enjoying it so far. Have a Rogue and Cleric and have been enjoying the classes. It's 4th Edition D&D so the amount of utility they gave Rogues is stupidly crazy so as someone who plays Rogues in RPGs I'm really happy

The previews for SMT IV are rolling out now and its making me hate its still like almost seven weeks away.

There's no Game Over screen in this one. Instead of Game Over when you die you're sent to the river Styx to be dealt with by a guy named Cheron. He's a guy that doesn't really enjoy the thankless job of constantly moving the dead to their various afterlives so amidst bitching about his job, he'll offer to resurrect you just so he doesn't have to deal with hauling you elsewhere. No money? No problem, he'll keep a tab for a bit, but you won't be revived with much HP.

So basically, this guy is Tom Nook + Mr. Resetti fused into one bitter old man. This is your new Game Over.

Picked up Fuse for PS3. It's... the most generic third person shooter I've ever played, even more so than Army of Two.

It mostly plays like Binary Domain, with XP and weird weapons and upgrades, but not nearly as much charm and not nearly as much interesting gameplay. Sorry, Insomniac. I love these guys, but this game has dudebro focus test plastered all over it.

Most of us saw that coming from a mile away. The decline in their other IPs' quality wasn't helping matters.

As with Rare and Silicon Knights before them, the difference in a developer's quality when they're not signed on with a platform holder and when they are can be rather staggering. Granted, Rare is practically dead before they left Nintendo much due to how the Stamper Bros. manged things, but with the way they've been handled since its pretty clear MS just wanted the name and the IPs. The difference between the quality of Rare's games and the freedom Bungie enjoyed or 343 enjoys now is night and day and clearly shows where MS's priorities lie.

Time will tell how well Bungie's Destiny pans out under Activision. Fuse I expected to pan out like this the second it dropped its Insomniac charm for focus testing.

Resistance 3 and A Crack in Time are pretty great. :/

Yeah that's pretty much the impression I got from the demo. Really, really wish they'd stuck with their original concept but my guess is EA had "creative differences" with them.
