So my current team of Pokemon in Black 2 nearly got bitch slapped by an NPC's Heracross. Back to the drawing board:

That team will get bitch slapped against nearly everything in Gen V. Fighting types/moves are king in Gen V and not only are half of your team weak to them, but it also hits the rest of your team for neutral damage...And given that it's Heracross it's going to be hitting like a truck. Half of your team are also weak to bug type moves.

Your team basically is weak to some of the best offensive types in the game:

Let's see:
50% of your team is weak to Fighting moves
50% of your team is weak to Fire moves
50% of your team is weak to Bug moves
50% of your team is weak to Ice Moves with one having a x4 Weakness
One of your team has a x4 Ground Weakness

Fighting moves are also guaranteed to hit your entire team for at least neutral damage.

Even for an ingame team, that is still massive given how common some of the above move types are ingame (Online...Yeah sorry but you'd be screwed with that party).

Finally beat Ten Desires on Normal without continuing (with Marisa, natch), though in my defense I only ever play it at my friend's place. It got down to the wire there: I had no lives or bombs remaining by the time I finished Miko's last attack, "Falling Stars on Divine Spirit Mausoleum".

I'll be tackling Hard Mode some more when I next visit, most likely. Already I've made it halfway through the Stage 4 Boss before dying without Continues, but not without some certain surprises along the way from the difficulty increase (WTF, THOSE LASERS CURVE NOW?!?).

I've been replaying Tales of Gaces f again just for fun (Evil mode woo). That said, it's very hard to have fun when the game throws places like Wallbridge and Bathus Citadel in your path. I keep going around in circles D:

I love Kamen Rider....so when I found out this case out, I had to try it for PSP, downloaded an ISO and now buying it from Play Asia ^.^

God I wish someone would rough translate this game -.- but I will have to settle with menu translation from some where I guess *sniff*

Flying and Ghost. It takes neutral damage from Bug moves due to being a dual psychic/fighting type and resists Fighting and Rock type moves.

Bracing for BO2 tonight... I'm only getting it because my brother likes CoD and always agrees to split on it - no way I'd ever pay full price. This time around though, I'm genuinely interested to see how it pans out - Treyarc is clearly the better of the 2 studios (they actually give a shit about balance etc.) and I'm really curious to see how the new wild card system works.


Still trying to rank up to SR-50 on Halo though - currently at 41. Spartan Ops will level you up fast but I just can't tolerate repeating those missions over & over & over, even muted. Speaking of which, is Episode 2 out yet?

Ep 2 is out. its just an on-disc timed unlock.

Online co-op is laggy as hell, though. I feel like I'm an elephant on a field of ball barrings when I play Spartan Ops. Also, they took off the option to co-op the five missions from the first chapter when the second one went up.

Nope. Episodes 2-5 are on it, too. Episode 2 unlocked by connecting to the server on Monday at midnight, nothing more.

6-10 might be DLC, but this ain't.

Well, they only said that Episode 1 was already on the disc but you could very well be right, given the achievements for the first 5 episodes are in the current list.

You'll be happy to know that since this game is aimed at younger audiences the use of Kanji is kept to a minimum so it will be extremely easy to translate.



And speaking of Kamen Rider I wish they would be willing to spend the money to make a good fighter with all the original Riders' voices.

The last battle was pretty cool (specially the finishing move), but I couldn't help but feeling very sad when I heard not-Kabuto speak.


PS > Kabuto is my favorite Rider series of all time followed by Hibiki (up to ep 30) and Decade.

Finished Halo 4 on Heroic. That campaign was just as great as the original Halo and a bit longer, to boot. 343 did a great job with it. I did sneak a peek at the Legendary ending and... well, not much of a difference, really. Just one little thing right at the end.

Only think I feel it was really missing was someone like a Sergeant Johnson. Commander Sarah Palmer kind of fills his place, but nothing she says really has that old crotchety military hardass sense of humor to it. Doesn't help that its Jennifer Hale, so you end up thinking "What's Commander Shepard doing in Halo 4?"

Then again, its hard to top Johnson's lines.
