Yeah I found it, the article I read about it was badly worded or some crap lol.

So far I'm really liking the gameplay changes. The weight system is a little annoying, but otherwise ME3 is by far the smoothest action-RPG I've ever played. I'm both happy and annoyed however at them nerfing Adrenaline Rush. Happy because it was retardedly OP in ME2, but at the same time I miss having that OP skill XD

At least it's more believable now. Shepard's more like a Spartan than Neo this way.

Finished Ys O for a third time. Thing is every time you play it's pretty much a different game and the last run had quite a few surprises, and is in fact the real ending of the game.

Definitely worth buying again for the PSP with Japanese voices along with all the other games.




PS > And while the new Ys IV will be released for Vita -made by Falcom as the real 4th cannon game in the series-, it's not really a very important part of the story and it goes in a very different direction. So I'm very safe getting Ys O, I&II, Oath and VII for the PSP and V and VI for the PS2 (region free chip ftw).

So yah, just got EDI in ME3 after the Palavan mission.

Gotta say, she's even better in this one. And also that it really, REALLY sucks that you can't recruit the ME2 cast in this - How I'd love to have both EDI & Legion in the same party. I'll have to settle for looking for any interactions between her and Tali I guess (the 3 of them together would be really interesting).

All of the ME2 party members except for Thane, Jacob and Miranda (they all have very good reasons for wanting to keep out of action or in hiding) are guest party members at some point in the game. Kasumi is around but whether you can use her for your EMS score or not depends on if you had her loyalty in 2.

Minor ME3 Spoilers RE: Kasumi

She fakes her own death at the end of her quest in ME3. If she's loyal to Shep she reveals it to Shepard and joins the Crucible Project to lend her technical skills and gives a nice chunk of EMS. If she isn't loyal then it's ambiguous as to if she is faking to Shepard too of if she really is dead but knowing the character she's most likely faking it to slip away from Shep too.

Anyway Wrex, Grunt, Mordin and Samara: all of them join you at some point in the game but since they are guest party members you can't control them. Legion is in the game but is also unplayable but for a very good reason as well.

Also it's lucky you aren't an Vanguard or Adept in ME3, Biotics are stupidly OP this time. Bringing Liara and Kaiden with you kind of breaks the game (again):

Vanguards have the Equip starting rifle with full Weight Reduction Mods + Biotic Charge > Nova Spam.
Adepts just have the ability to equip a light pistol and literally spam Biotic powers everywhere.
Oh and Liara gets singularity.

My Renegade file is a Vanguard actually.

I haven't transferred him to ME3 yet though as I want to just finish my dry run and then put the series down for a while. I'm actually enjoying the soldier quite a bit this time around - AR was stupidly OP in ME2, but at the same time it was also pretty necessary. It's nice to see a more balanced shooter experience overall in 3.

And yeah speaking of Liara, I'm not so much impressed by her having Singularity (she's always had it) so much as her AIisn't retarded about using it.

Actually they really improved the AI in ME3. The enemies are no longer suicidally overconfident and you can see them using tactics and coordination. I was very impressed with it and it shows that Bioware finally can do decent enemy AI.

Eh idk about that - Husks at least still charge blindly into gunfire which is just really, REALLY fucking annoying. Yeah, I get that they are melee attackers, but it's kinda hard to claw at the enemy when you're riddled with bullet holes (and it's also infuriating getting swarmed by the buggers - thank you singularity!)

Yeah that is kind of the point of husks, shock troopers to get ground troops to waste ammunition on those instead of the stuff with heavier weapons.

I like how they added bullet penetration as well (though it can be annoying as it works both ways >.<) and the ammo powers are all really good this time - Cryo is not the loltastic skill it was in 2 at all, especially with the lv 6 enhanced freeze chance. My only annoyance with it is that the squad perk reduces it dramatically for the rest of the squad - which is why I prefer to not take that skill with maybe a few exceptions (Armor Piercing, Cryo & Warp - Incinerate & Disruptor don't seem to lend themselves too well to squad mates. I'd rather use the "Heavy" versions on my myself and abuse AR to quickly bring down the defenses of multiple targets and then let my buddies follow up with freeze rounds)

Which reminds me, a pack of frozen enemies (too bad there aren't cryo nades) + AoE concussive shot = funny stuff.

You get damage bonuses and additional effects for stacking powers like that. Singularity + Warp is fun since it sucks in everyone then suddenly there is a massive explosion and everyone lifted flies everywhere.

And if you gave Liara just a pistol you can do this over and over. ^_^

So uh, yeah, waht the fuck Bioware? It's been 5 months since launch and they still haven't fixed a rather nasty glitch in the game.

I can't finish Kasumi's quest, and thus I lose out on her, as well as the Drell & Hanar War Assets. The terminals never showed up for me to click them, and I've already saved over that and no way I'm restarting my file (it was intended as a dry run but I still hate this kind of crap). Fix your shit bioware.

EDIT: Liara has a pistol and SMG, as it doesn't seem to make any difference whatsoever how much weight she's carrying - allies are apparently immune to weight penalties.
