Beat Indigo Prophecy. Incredible game, although the last half seemed very loose and rushed, I actually kinda like that because that's exactly how Shenmue is. It's like "dudes, look at this incredible game we made, it's so awesome, look at eve-- oh fuck, we ran out of budget. Well, we're going to do our best, but don't forgot how awesome the beginning was ok? What? The ending didn't make sense? Don't worry, we're making a sequel. WAIT NO LOL FORGOT OUR GAME WAS DOOMED TO FAILURE FOR BEING DIFFERENT SRY NVM."
Got the purple ending, which is probably technically a bad end, but the alternatives didn't seem much cheerier. Actually, from the sounds of it, it seems the most hopeful. To solve my 'blaaaaaah which order do I play them in' problem, I used a dice roll thing. Beyond Good and Evil is first, followed by ZoE/2, DMC2/3, and Gun at the end (before the PSP games, anyway, which I am inclined to save for times portable games are nice to have)
Beyond Good and Evil is the awesome sauce. I wish more people knew about it, if it had actually sold well we'd probably already have the full trilogy finished.
I picked up Armored Core: For Answer for $20 new yesterday. Not really sure what they are thinking over at Gamestop, but this is the 2nd time I have seen them selling AC:FA and AC4 at the same price new on the PS3, while the 360 version is still $39.99 new and $29.99 used. They did the same thing when AC:FA was released, it was on sale online for $19.99.
Either way, pretty sure Gamestop doesn't actually profit from me paying $20 for it so I am alright with giving them money just this once.
EDIT: Firefox ate my edit cause I forgot I can't post from Firefox any more -_-
I finished Folklore today. Overall a pretty enjoyable experience. I was not expecting the little surprise at the end and the ending was overall thoroughly satisfying. My faith in this generation has been slightly renewed.
Hate! A group of friends played this for a bit, then got banned because they spoke english in front of a group of Japanese players who thought they should report them. Havn't found out where to get it myself.
No complaints here, I don't care about how many pixels make up Tigrex's face while I'm running for my life.
I played the demo of MH Tri and I'm not sure I like what they've done to Greatswords. Instead of being able to straight up charge shot, you have to do a 3 hit combo ending with the charge slash. I can't imagine how this is going to be useful or even a remotely good idea as the strength of GS was timing the lv3 charge to hit their weak point as they turned.
But I use mainly hammer anyway, so as long as they don't touch my golf swing I am all right.
You would've had to buy it sooner or later. You would've missed out on far too much otherwise.
Eh, that's true, but I've spent too much money on games lately, so I think I'll hold off on getting one for a bit... though I do want to play Brawl and such.
Finished two Wii games so far today. Me and my cousin played through Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and afterward I finished NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams.
I'm feeling on a roll with the Wii now so next up is either Trauma Center: New Blood or Soul Calibur Legends.
But seriously, Trauma Center is pretty good (at least, should be-- Second Opinion was alright for a DS port, and I've heard New Blood is much better)-- but Soul Caliber Legends should be criminalized. In fact, I think it is, in Utah.
