I recently started Killzoine 2. AI cheats like nothing I've ever seen before, but it's not terrible.

Force gun when you get it, Line gun (optional) only with your spare nodes. Don't really need anything else.

Ripper is a solid investment. Ammo is plentiful and it generally only takes one shot to kill anything. Line gun is a very good "I absolutely got to kill every mother fcker in this room" gun, but it doesn't really require much upgrading.

That's pretty much all you need. I never tried the Force gun or Flamethrower myself but I haven't heard anything great about either.

The flamethrower does nothing but get your ass killed, because you have to get RIGHT up close to get in the torching.

Does anyone here play Left For Dead? I really want to try that game out but my 360 is bricked right now so it's nothing more than a £300 paperweight taking up shelf space right at the moment. I don't feel like shelling out for another one just to play one game so is the game really worth doing that?

Games I am playing right now:

Saint's Row 2 (PS3/360) - I'm having a LOT more fun with this than I ever had with GTAIV, GTA tried to act more serious and realistic, SR2 pretty much went in the total opposite direction. The game is so over the top it's genuinely a lot of fun if you are a fan of sandbox games. For some reason I simply cannot get enough of maxing out my wanted level, stealing a private jet then parachuting out into the middle of the city before battling my way through rival gangs and police to find a car and see how long I can last. There is also the option of custimising your gang so you don't ahve to have the whole "gang banger" thing going on. My gang looks something like the Mafia and it looks incredibally cool when a car pulls up with 4 sharply dressed mobsters step out and cause chaos. The soudtrack is also very good and much better than the one for GTAIV. There is a huge variety of music ranging from classical to heavy metal so chances are you will find a genre you like. if you're bored of GTA and want a sandbox game that is genuinely fun and doesn't take itself too seriously it's worth a buy especially given how cheap it is now. I find that the Zero Punctiatuion review of the game is very accurate so it's worth watching that if you want to find out more about the game.

Persona 4 (PS2) - This is VERY fun and a vast improvement over Persona 3 IMO. My main issue with P3 was that very little you did in the dating sim sections really effected much outside of Social Links so that part of the game was more of a chore than anything else. P4's dating sim sections are more interesting. For one every character has thier own social link so you get to know your party a lot better than you did in P3. Actions outside of social Link cutscenes also have an effect on the game later on which is aomething I like. There is also the ability to go back a week on a game over which is a great improvement. One annoying thing about P3 was getting a game over for being too low a level or not having the right persona to beat a storyline boss and having to go back several weeks because you forgot to save. Then there is the soundtrack. This game alone is worth getting purely because of the soundtrack CD you get with it. Honestly I could go on all day about how improved this game is over P3 but it's easier to just say "go out and buy it yourself before it east you!". The only negative thing about it is that you have to sit through a 3 hour long unskippable tutorial section before you can enjoy the meat of the game but that is what keeping your "end of the tutorial" save is for . There is also the whole "Yosuke is really the main character and you are just there to watch thing" but I like Yosuke and Chie a lot so it's really not an issue for me.

              Phantasy Star Portable (PSP)
              - A very fun little game for fans of action RPGs. it's basically a direct sequal to the Phantasy Star Universe expansion but the game is nice enough to explain everything for you if you have never played PSU before. While the game is rather easy it is genuinely fun and there is a lot of character customisation. If you have X Link or a PS3 it is possible to play multiplayer mode over infrastructure online instead of just with other players in the room which is always a nice plus for a game designed to be played with other people anyway. All in all pick it up if you are a fan of action RPGs and I would say it's worth a rent if you aren't just to try it out.

^^Now that you mention it, didn't the DLC for SR2 come out yesterday? I think it was supposed to come out last thursday but it got pushed to yesterday last i knew. For some reason I was more interested in the replayablity of SR2 than GTA4. I said I'd download the GTA4 DLC after everybody else had played it lol but I ultimately said screw it. Customization has always been one of my favorite things and when it was included in San Andreas and not included in GTA4 I kinda lost interest.

But Myuria = Elf bewbs + Best magic user in the game! (with fast cast)

I gotta admit though, Edge was perhaps the 1st main character in an RPG in some time that hasn't just outright pissed me off or annoyed me in some manner (see: "Tales of ____ " line of RPGS >_>)

                  As for dead space, you'll only ever need 3 weapons;

PC (Max this thing out ASAP, it frags most of the enemies just fine and ammo is plentiful) Line Gun (Absolutely required for stasis slashers and the Regenerator) and the Pulse Gun (Fully upgraded this thing is a BEAST; it fires for 1/2 the damage of the PC but has a massive magazine [125 or 175 rounds IIRC] and high RoF. Great for fragging the weakpoints of bosses or tiny enemies that die in 1 hit anyway).

The only time I use the Linear Gun (or w/e that thing is that you charge up) is against the Brutes. It's too damned slow against anything else (especially bosses which sucks given how hard the gun hits) and is too costly to upgrade.

Flamethrower is a PoS don't even bother buying/carrying it (as a pyromaniac I was extremely pissed off at this) However, in it's defense (as one of the achievements is upgrading every weapon and getting X number of kills with it) the Blue Flame from fully upgrading it is sweet.

The Ripper can be a lot of fun fully upgraded but I just find that for the speed some enemies move at it's too awkward.

Finally, the Force Gun is only really nice for taking out the Wall Guardians (the fat dudes next to the doors that lob exploding tentacle thingies at you) in 1 shot, or using the secondary to knock a slasher to the floor. It's decent upgraded but the 1st 3 guns I mentioned really reign supreme.

I love the force gun, period. But that's because I'm a shotgun kinda guy.

And I only used the line gun for convenience when there were enough necros after me at the same time, but everything you do with it you can with the plasma cutter unless your acc sucks.

Also, I didn't like the ripper, even fully upgraded, I mean it's fun and stuff but just not my kinda playstyle.

So long story short, max the Plasma Cutter asap (and remember to save the ammo upgrades for when you are empty when possible) and give all the other weapons a try till you find the most effective for your playstyle.

I was actually kind of surprised that Myuria's boobs were not incorportated into at least one attack. They look like they have their own gravitational field, and I'm sure they could knock someone out if she turned around too fast.

Which one? The one where Meracle jumps on Edge and tickles him, or the one where she walks in on Meracle sleeping next to Edge? Reimi jumps to conclusions way too easily... but I suppose I would too, seeing as how she's a 75% naked cat-girl.

                              Update-
NMH (4th playthrough. No idea why I haven't taken the couple hours to just toss the disk in and get it off my list already.)
                              FFX2

Zone of the Enders (2nd playthrough)
*Zone of the Enders: The 2nd RUNNER (Wheeeeeeeeeee)
                              *Indigo Prophecy (No spoilers, please)
                              Brave Story: New Traveler
                              Silent Hill: Origins

I am also playing Katamari on the side, although Katamari is more of a recreational drug than it is a video game. Right now is the first time I'm gonna say that I'm not instantly buying and putting Majora's Mask at the top of my list if it comes out. I've got enough on my plate, and it's not like it's going to get more expensive. Considering getting Super Mario World on VC, as I never really played it properly as a noob@life, and it's not the same on emulators. Question on that, how easy is SMW in terms of actually being able to complete the game? SMB1/2 (Doki Doki, that is) have gained much hate from me. Heck, for that matter, bad childhood memories of SM64 keep me from enjoying it now. Very unfortunate, that.

Just finished RE5. Pretty sure we've been playing it for the past 11 hours straight, which almost beats my record for longest time playing a single game in one sitting (Grim Grimoire currently holds that at about 13 hours, played from start to finish x_x)

Trying out the Mercenaries mode now. Good times.
