And now I'm thinking...damn, I really should get that add-on control stick for 3DS. Having to control Pit's direction purely from the touch screen just isn't going to work.

I was thinking of grabbing this game and a 3DS... The 3ds is really cheap as of today its 119$ + a 20$ mail in rebate.. so only $99 ... but I fear they will release a new 3ds revision with a built-in circle pad pro lol.. so I am reluctant!

Sakurai and Project Sora seem to be in their own little world when developing. They didn't know they were doing another SSB when Iwata announced it. They also didn't know about the Circle Pad Pro until a couple months before it released. As such, CCP wasn't fully implemented into the game and really only has a "lefty" option rather than dual analog control. I have the CPP and it really is just a lefty option and little else.

CPP is great for RE: Revelations and MGS Snake Eater 3D, but not so much for Kid Icarus.

I would try remapping and perhaps even enabling Auto-fire. The stand is also an option, but I've managed without it so far.

I am looking at this new Neo Geo X that is coming out, I want it, but honestly would not pay more then 150 for it. The "confirmed" prices was 500 Pounds... but that was squished by the company and said that they would revel the price later.

Been playing Majora's Mask lately, started up a new character I lovingly named Penis, which is all sorts of hilarious on many occasions.

I've seen a ton of Epic Mickey 2 news, but there's something kind of important being obscured within the news.

There's an Epic Mickey 3DS game also being done and its being made by Dreamrift, the folks that made Henry Hatsworth and Monster Tale on the DS. That's far more important to me than the console versions and all their so-called improvements.

Not that Epic Mickey was bad, but they're changing so much about what made the first game special. Its going for feature more familar Disney stuff rather than focus on the forgotten and rejected elements of Disney (which was kind of the selling point of the original), they're throwing voice acting on to characters who, by tradition, would typically pantomime in silence. Its good they're fixing the camera - that did need fixing, but it seems they're stripping away the charm of the first in the process.

Oh, its also going to be a musical. That's about the only part that caught my interest.

Dreamrift doing a 2D Epic Mickey is far more interesting at this point

Don't worry, meta has always been more fun than the actual game anyway.

Personally I think this is my favorite not because it's the coolest, but because it has everything EVE could've been if CCP was able to fulfill even half the stuff they promise. <_<;

So I ended up picking up Kid Icarus and I am enjoying it so far.. Although I would have rather them added more exploration/continuous world and made it more like Zelda.... Anyway not a bad game. Anybody else grab it?

Done with Chapter 4 of Graces F.

Word from the wise; I hope you didn't sell the starter weapons. If you did, better go back and buy them if you get a chance. The Ultimate weapons require those as the base to dualize.

My free Kid Icarus Uprising AR cards from Club Nintend just came in, including the sexy Palutena (Rare) card.



Still having fun with the game, just got to the turning point in the plot and I've fused a really kickass Cursed Palm. I just wish Nintendo would give details on how they plan to distribute these other AR cards. Supposedly there are 360 of the in all. You get six randoms with the game, one was in in Game Informer and then I have these three new ones from Club Nintendo.

In other AR funny business, there's the Fatal Frame spin-off, Spirit Camera for DS out next week. I believe that one comes with an actual AR book.

I just beat the main storyline. Highest difficulty I can seem to complete missions on is 5 though so I still got a lot of work to do. In multiplayer, I've mostly been sticking to a Meteor Bow with +2 Shot Homing, +2 Speed, +3 Evasion, +2 Effect Duration, and +3 Full Health Boost. It also has Melee Dash Attack+3, but that doesn't really do anything. Am somewhat consistently in the Top 3 with it and rarely in 1st place. I'm probably just terrible at the game.

Recently tried out a Stealth Claw I fused. Was pretty good. Overall Defense+2, Health+1, Melee Combo+2, Melee Dash Attack+2, Full-Health Boost+2...and a Heart Bonus+1 which I don't believe does anything.

I'm too obsessed with building the perfect weapon to move ahead. I've beated some of the earliest levels at 8 and 9 and there weapons with good natural homing and movement speed are practically mandatory before you consider weapon bonuses.
