Being as vague as possible - they affect the journey and ends to subplots, but not the endings themselves. There's debate on how the endings are put in, but I think its a bunch of hot air and theorycrafting that will be disproved has more playthroughs are done. Some people are angered by the endings as they believed there would be a lot more closure.

There are minor variations leading up to the three endings, all depending on "Galactic Readiness," War Assets and Military strength, but it just mildly flavors what happens in the conversations leading up to the end. I had three choices to end the game one, much like DXHR did, except you had to trudge through about 20 minutes of bullshit to see each one again.

Still playing Xenoblade Chronicles (over 50 hours now) along with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune... though in small doses. Easy mode in that game is not Easy at all (or I'm just really, really bad at the gun fights).

I picked up Soul Silver again over the weekend. I really wish I didn't know about IVs and EVs, it makes playing the game that much harder. Also I have completely forgotten how to build a well balanced team.

I picked up Soul Silver again over the weekend. I really wish I didn't know about IVs and EVs, it makes playing the game that much harder. Also I have completely forgotten how to build a well balanced team.

Don't worry about those things. You don't need it since NPCs don't EV train and they'll never be as smart as humans. Besides, EV training your whole team without EV-boosting items takes FOREVER.

Just look for Pokemans with good base stats and moves that don't suck and stick to using trainers for grinding (x1.5 EXP bonus against them.)

I'm hoping this "fusion" system in B/W2 is exactly what I think it is. Pokemon more or less cribbed notes from Shin Megami Tensei anyway, they may as well shamelessly rip-off Fusion if it can help people around breeding toward EV training being the ugly timesink that it is.

More or less, it should mean taking two existing Pokemon to create an entirely new one inheriting compatible traits based on the new pokemon's class. Traits unique to a certain type of pokemon might be possible to transfer to the new one, but often in SMT they lock the "ultimate" skills of as unique to the demon/Persona in question. In pokemon terms that means skills from Legendaries along with the Legendaries themselves would be exempt within the system.

Time will tell what Nintendo makes of the Fusion system, though. If Nintendo can make it as accessible and fun as Persona 4 and Devil Survivor 2 make it, I may hop back into Pokemon.

I like Pokemon, I just want Nintendo to start trimming the fat out so collecting Pokemon and getting the ones you want is genuinely fun again rather than a crapshoot.
