Really, really, REALLY liking Kingdoms of Amalur. Smart game design, quests galore, fantastic combat. We'll see how the game holds up over the long term, but so far, so good - already enjoying the first 2 hours with the game more than my first two hours of Skyrim. Totally my kind of game!

was sick the past two days, really did not feel like playing anything, but I did put my brain to work, and started modding my Super Smash Bros. Brawl on my Dolphin emulator.

I am going for an "arcade Edition" adding in costume swaps and the like, and a few more tweaks" then I will set it up with my arcade sticks to give it that complete "arcade" feel.

if anyone else had messed with SSBB I would love some tips.

Wow, I forget Tekken 3D was out in 3DS this week. Might be a nice warm-up to SFXT next month.

Some interesting details:

- No story mode, but then, I thing thats what the Blood Vengeance movie is for.
- No Arcade Mode, either, single player stuff is either ten random opponenets (its sort of a Tekken compilation anyway) or a survival mode (endless opponents)
- In single player, the game runs at 60 FPS in 3D, which SSFIV3D and DOA: Dimensions chouldn't pull off.

However, for online play, Tekken shut off the 3D entirely to avoid producing lag for either player.They wanted to make sure none of the framerate was lost online. I can respect that.

EDIT: Just watched that Lollipop Chainsaw trailer. Putting the dude's head on a zombie? Now that's cool.

Oh dear lord, are you a glutton for punishment? Enchanted Arms is the ONLY game amongst my PS3 collection that I have ever traded in simply because I couldn't stand the sight of it any longer. And it might actually be a better game than Golden Axe: Beast Rider...

We need more game soundtracks inspired by Blade Runner. There's just something very relaxing about Deus Ex and Mass Effect OSTs.
