There's still the 3 Goddesses. Farore is just predominantly featured in this game but the other two are mentioned several times in the game.

A friend of mine put it in a rather interesting way - Wind Waker could be seen as Nayru's game, being the water goddess & all and this one is Farore. We just need one centered around Din now - maybe a game where we actually play as Ganon o. O?

I think after all this time he should get his own game. That is, if Nintendo can ever stand to break away from their family-friendly corporate image and try something new apart from just porting over M rated games of other developers.

Either that, or perhaps a Zelda game that's a little more RPG? That'd certainly be cool for once - give Link EXP & all, along with a morality system - do you side more with Zelda and try to save the World, or follow in Ganon's footsteps in a quest for power?

Probably won't ever happen but it'd be cool.

At a glance, I don't see anything terribly spoileriffic in Mal's post either (no more so than what was in Armando's post on the previous page). At worst, it's a very mild spoiler for the story background. Even so, one should always be careful talking about brand new games that just released. Truth be told, the storytelling in the Zelda franchise is always a bit haphazard at best, so even a solid spoiler shouldn't be ruining any sort of Sixth Sense sort of carefully crafted plot twist.

Still not reading it. Skyward Sword is pretty story-driven as Zelda games go, moreso than OOT, MM, WW and TP were. Even the smallest thing can be a spoiler since pretty much every character you come upon has their own special moment (not to mention most people in Skyloft are uniquely designed).

Yeeeeeah, no. Each comparable SD costs half those price point and sometimes less than half.

This with no on-board memory, mandatory saves to the memory card (WTF), bullshit BC program and PSP/Vita games taking up lots of memory.

But it has two analog sticks! That's what's important.

The first line is vaguely spoilery if you're like, REALLY into Zelda and the rest is just random Malacite speculation that goes nowhere, because: Malacite.

While I agree that newly launched games require a greater effort put into spoilers, going into a thread devoted to a newly released game and then getting mad if someone slips up is kind of ridiculous. If I spent all of my time getting mad at folks for spoiling me on shit I'd be mad 24/7. I just don't have the energy for that.

Keeping on topic...

Beat the arms super boss of Tales of the Abyss on Very Hard mode on Saturday without an All-Divide and only 2 items. The fight went relatively smoothly, except for the multiple times she one/two shot my part members.

Start of Fight: Opens with Mystic Cage then proceeded to kill Jade and Tear with Blessed Drops

Multiple times: Annihilates Anise with Fragmented End (70k+ damage each time). One time she did Rending Saber to Fragmented End.

My favorite: Kills Anise with Innocent Shine. Natalia survives it (like a boss), then proceeds to hit the floor with Tear from Indignation. (my oh crap moment).

Her normal attacks and spells really weren't a problem. They hurt, but they are pretty easy to avoid (except one time Tear took a hit from Meteor Storm and just dropped). It is the fact she has access to so many Mystic Artes and can use multiple back to back without warning. The nice thing is field AoE Mystic Artes can't kill you even if they do more than your max HP, by they leave you with red HP.

Saved the game to an extra file before the fight so I can try on Unknown.
