Played Bastion at PAX... liked it... Played demo recently on 360 and was convinced to purchase it. Pretty solid top down hack n' slash. Having a pretty good time with it. Love'n the narrator throughout. I love the vibrant color pallette they chose. Nice distraction from FFxi atm.

Just beat Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

Awesome idea, sub-par execution, god-awful quests and difficulty. That game desperately needs checkpoints. Still, I wouldn't have minded if a couple more Zelda games had gone down this route. If Nintendo had made a 2D Zelda game with the same quality as A Link To the Past, it could've been good.

Protip for those playing Catherine:

If you're angling for the Rapunzel mini-game trophy/achievement, it may be in your best interest to wait till just before a certain point of no return to do so, as that day in the bar the Rapunzel arcade game will be in Free Play mode, allowing unlimited credits.

playing through FFX again, and placed Catherin on hold for now.... I am not that good at puzzle games, and it was starting to anger me ;p (love it though)

Got all Golds on Catherine's Normal Mode, unlocked the final Babel level - Axis Mundi.

Now that that's done, gonna work to get some of the other endings and see if I can keep some of my fellow sheep alive this time.

Also beat the main quest to Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion this weekend, this after maxing out rank in Mage's Guild, Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood.

Gonna bounce between doing Shivering Isles and stuff in Catherine this week. Since I beat it on Normal, I can just breeze through Easy to see the other endings (I think I've earned that all things considered ). Besides, Babel is rigged to hard no matter what and I do want to see how I rank there.

I thought I'd be tired of both games by now, but apparently not. Oblivion was a touch better than Morrowind, meaning it lacks the crushing disappointment that came with Constant Effect items. At least this time out they weren't too ambitious with it and that let me reign in my expectations for what I wanted to do.

The Mage's Guild quest did end with a rather annoying bug where Mannimarco become completely invincible to magic and physical attacks, but the bug also prevented him from closing the arena for the fight, so I ran into the moat and used his pathfinding to drown him.

Morrowind did burn me hard with its grind to make enchantments worked. You had to grind spell skills, soul trap and then were rewarded with system crashes for wearing multiple CE items you worked to make. Oblivion have you alternatives to the grind in the Sigil Stones and plenty of CE in quest items and general drops. I never really even had to grind spells, which was nice because levelling magic is still horrid in Oblivion.

Aside from that Mannimarco thing and some Shivering Isle crashes, its been mostly been good, though boss fights do leave something to be desired. Skyrim looks like it won't have that problem.

Listen to your fellow sheep, they give good technique tips in-game. Many of them are relevant to the level you're about to do.

Also, Easy is too Easy after you do Normal. I find Normal just about Donkey Kong Country hard, really. The hard part isn't finishing the level, but maxing score chains and completing the level with a gold.

With Easy, the levels are about 1/3 the length they are on Normal and the arrangements are a bit easier to deal with.

Only difference between Normal and Hard is no "undo" feature, it seems, and the only catch to doing Easy Mode is that you can't unlock Babel levels or as many atrophments for going that route.

Beat Plants Vs Zombies entirely... now just to attempt for the random 'achievements'.

Wish Android had a better game selection.

/prays for Epic's greed to reach critical levels so I might get Infinity Blade on Android before the 2nd coming...

I've been playing a great deal of Fallout: New Vegas. Much like ME, I hated it at first (Probably because it didn't give me a vibe like Fallout 3), but now, it's the only game that's been in my tray this week.

But dammit, I thought the All-American was automatic! I went through hell, literally, in Vault 34. That place is not friendly to a level 9 courier. Luckily Veronica and ED-E seemed to have taken their WIN pills and prevented me from dying... but still... hate Service Rifle copies.

My inability to RTS is inexplicable, then. Or perhaps I simply have more patience with bullet hell vs. a computer rather than getting pwned over and again by humans.

Anyway, I'mma download Hypercam sometime soon and edit this post with my own stuff, including a spell that, surprisingly enough, gave me even more trouble than Hourai Elixir when trying to capture every Normal difficulty spell with Marisa solo (an unlock prerequisite for Reimu's Last Word, which I have yet to beat).

Working on SMT: Strange Journey stuff and ESIV: O Shivering Isles stuff still.

Next week its more SMT with DSO and DX: HR.

Main series SMT like SJ is just really hard to get off the ground. Slow started but once you start getting into the fusion mechanics its all smooth sailing with very little real grinding.

Fuse demon, fight some demons with it, level it up, fuse it with somthing else to make a stronger demon and repeat while making your law/neutral/chaos choices when prompted. I'm all neutral for now.

Going to pick up Phantasy Star Zero today while I am out driving for work, other then that, I am playing Left 4 Dead 1&2 on PC, and messing around with Dragon Nest
