Not me, but my six year old has been loving Battalion Wars II on Wii. He has passed me the Wiimote to play a few rounds, though, and it's a pretty fun game. If I had a Wii, I'd totally pick it up and play it on my own at home.

He and my younger son (who is 5) played Mario Kart Wii yesterday, too. I'm so glad my kids love to game.

In addition, it's funny to hear him reading the help text of the game. He can read English pretty well but he doesn't know what all of it means. Kind of like how I read Spanish - I can read it perfectly fine and get the overall gist through context, but I don't fully know what the fuck I'm reading.

well NOT playing FFXI right now, servers seem to be down (did I miss a server maintenance message some where?) so I am playing some arcade games, along with Castlevania Lords of Shadow.

Cycling between XI (down for world merge atm for another hour @_@) Halo Reach and Star Craft 2. Blizzard is out of their f'ing minds with this next patch though removing Khadaryn Amulet ...

Got Pokemon White yesterday, so I've been having a bit of fun with that. I'm gonna set it aside for a bit after the third gym just so I can get on with completing Radiant Historia this month. I just have a lot of ground to cover left in Soul Silver before I even bother completing the main arc of Black/White.

My decision to have a Zelda title always in rotation has kinda thrown a wrench in things, but I'm enjoying going back over the installments that I haven't played from anywhere between eight to 13 years.

Still working on Tactics Ogre: LUCT on PSP as well, its not leaving the PSP until Dissidia Duodecim arrives.

oh the world merge was today? thought that was on the 16th for some reasons *shrugs* but yeah I have Pokemon Black, but I can not play it (keeping it wrapped too) until the 27th (traded in my DSIXL towards a 3DS)

Meh, no point in trading in mine just yet, I still have til the 27th to get the bonus credit on the DSi > 3DS deal. Marketing materials this week confirmed it, but I had already figured as much.

I hate to say it, but I got back into Pokemon this weekend. I didn't modernize and go straight for Black/White though. I'm sure I will come to regret that decision. But instead, I went for Soul Silver. My experience with Diamond wasn't all that positive, but I remember I always liked the Silver/Gold/Crystal games.

Back then, I felt like Gold/Silver/Crystal provided a nice variety without feeling like there was an overwhelming glut of Pokemon to choose from.

Anyway, just picked up the Plain Badge and am moving onto that city that had the big tower with the Legendary pokemon of that game. Also restarted the save over and over until Bill gave me a damn female Eevee.

Black/White seems to follow the HG/SS structure, this time adding seasons on top of night/day. The seasons aren't literal, but rather, just monthly.

Seeems like only a portion of the online content was ready for launch anyway, you won't be able to do things like Dream World til the 30th, it seems. Plus the pokemon-GL site doesn't seem ready for western players just yet.

Played through all three Assassin's Creed games. Fun times. Even though 1 left a lot to be desired. Stabbing people is fun.

Almost done with FFXIII. Sigh. This game could have been more enjoyable.

I played the first all the way through... redundant but very fun. I purchased the second for cheap on Amazon at Christmas. I got about 4hrs or more into it (aside from artwork, I had my town pimped) and was having fun when I tried to log in one day and found my save file was corrupted... I attempted to restart from the begnining but I couldn't get back into it. I hate redoing things... I was pretty pissed.

Downloading FFXI. Because I'm a masochist.

Picked up Okamiden saturday as someone in the area happened to break the street date before Gamestop.

Its very enjoyable, to say the least. though that pre-order stylus was pretty damn cheaply made. Its for decoration, don't use it for the game. i"m gonna keep that nifty screen cloth in the DS case, as I already have some generic ones for my DS and PSP anyway.

Been playing Fatal Frame 4. It's pretty good, not as scary as I'd hoped but still interesting.

Just wish the girls weren't so damn slow. Combat is pretty cumbersome too, like the 1st 3 Silent Hill games > _<;
