Dirge of Cerberus

Its good being Japanese.

Well, I now have this game and so far, its pretty decent.

Pros
-Character Designs are amazing
-More depth in battle system than I thought
-Environment and atmosphere is awesome
-Vincent
-Story doesn't seem too half-assed

Cons
-VERY hard to get used to controls
-melee combos suck (so far)
-Annoying cutscenes come up frequently

Things that were cool
Limit breaks- you can turn into Gallian Beast. I'll probably get more limitbreaks in the future
Gun Upgrading/shitloads of guns you can use- Like Resident Evil 4
Materia- I like equiping the fire materia and killing 5-10 guys at the same time.
Interesting characters- A lot of boobage too.

Things that WON'T be cool
Gackt

And the movie sequences are really good. Its Advent Children quality.

I see a lot of pictures of what looks like it being played online, is that a feature and have you tried it? It looks pretty good from the screenshots I've seen.

HYDE owns Gackt badly. =/ He'd look dead sexier in the costumes. Gackt looks a tad freaky with his hair pinned back like feudal japan style. X_x Almost looked like a girl...

EDIT: Tried the online thing today. Hella fun. Only problem is that I'm in the US so the timezone restrictions are kinda tough. Only got to do two "missions."

And keyboard>controller. L3 stick sucks.

Gackt isnt a girl<.<, he is a good singer, but bad acter...I could understand if they hade him just sing the theme, but my friend was right bad acter...

DoC sucked in my eyes..to easy, and everything you said about cons is so true..
its only wroth it for Online play..

blah, FFVII was once a get RPG, now their ruining it milking it for everything that left.. The movie was a let down, they lied they didnt slove much, like they said they would:___:.. Only good thing thing about the movie was the CGI..

lol, Square-Enix can make great game plots, but when it comes to anime or movies, they suck at it..they nail with the CGI though..

anyway its about time for S-E to move on...DoC should show them that, it did poorly..so maybe their get it and leave it alone..
