Squall, simply because he beat some serious ass and had a hot chick (love that scene on the Ragnarok) to help him do it. Plus IMHO FFVIII was the BEST FF game made after FFVII ( they are tied, but i liked FFVIII's story more, while FFVII had better gameplay.)

I liked Auron off X. Pure Bad @$$. I liked the scene when you first get him back into your party at the blitz ball arena and he gets ready to fight that lizard thing. Oh and the first scene of the game when Sin attacks Zanarkand (<spelling?), he just walks in like its nothing at all! I haven't played VII yet but Cloud and Seph both sound awesome.

He had that sweet hair, the eyepatch, and those sweet stances n stuff in battle mode. plus he sacrificed himself to help the good guys, then came bak all bad ass.

second fav is Beatrix. She's the bad ass chick with the Save the Queen then later joins u and u get to use all ur awesome stuff like Shock, Climhazard (spellin?), Stock Break, etc. plus her theme music was wicked awesome, made the battles with her some of my favorites

I have to say Yuna, because of the story line and to see what her character had to go thorugh all the determination, pain, love, lust, sorrow, revenge etc. she really fel into my heart as someone you'd want to meet in real life, I think she has been the best character a story has been written for in FF.

Cecil in FF4 , He's a Dark Knight and further in the game he become a paladin , What a kick A$$ Story!!!!!! and i likes him cuz he's kinda the best party leader i never seen ^^.

Beatrix is probably one of their coolest characters to date; shame you only get her for one or so fights...

I also have a thing for the dragoon characters. The whole idea of jump + pointy stick is just one of those things that make FF, FF. Freya and Kain were cool in that respect. Stats wise freya was kinda rubbish... :p

Of the heroes, Cloud is my favorite; he was the original emo FF lead, and still the best. But really, it's the graphical design that I like.

I would have to say Cecil from FFIV. I really liked the whole Dark Knight/Paladin thing and he was a total badass with both jobs.

samurai from FFT i love those guys for power! also my DRG?SAM from ffxi but if i had to say a character from a FF series it would have to probably cid he was always a good guy in any of the FF series and always helped people out.

SEPHIROTH deffinitly .... i mean man that scene in clouds hoimetown with the fire is just pure power its great xD ... plus he's got a big sword wish i could ahve a sword like that ..... and the grey hair looks awsome ..... plus he can take over peoples mindz 0.0 ....... plus i bet he had a gold chocobo thats how he got everywhere so fast >.> but i had one too so i chased him around and ... ok i'ma shuttup xD :-P ...... but sephiroth deffinitly my favorite **gold chocobo ftw**
