That is the same thing they said and did with the PS2. Stores would get 2 or 3 units every so often and you had to be super lucky to grab one. I guess what you could do is check with a large retailer like Best Buy and see when they receive shipments. Go in and talk to the guy in the games department and get the approx. time they would have them on the shelves.
