What a certain retailer told me about X360

Bah, went to funcoland and payed off my x360 and only when i leave the store and get half way home do i realise that i forgot to ask them if they was going to have a midnight release. So i call them from the cell only to have them say that they cut off the first shipment pre orders IN MAY!!! and i was on the second shipment OMFGWTFNOOOOOOOO.

My only option now is to either wait it out like a wuss, or go with the brass go nads and wait in line (which im going to do) at a First Come First Serve store. Hopefully a best buy near me will provide that option. If i can wait 9+hours for the PS2 and be 17th in line out of 250+ plus then i can do it for Xbox 360 ^_~

Yeah, the XBOX360 is amazingly popular. When it gets too popular and when companies rush, bad things happen. Of course, they may also push it back for quality reasons.

Sorry to hear that happen. I was the samw way when Twilight Princess got delayed.

I talked to funcoland again yesterday and they said i could get my money back as long as i have ALL my receipts for the money that i had put down on the xbox360. Needless to say after almost bursting in rage becauase i almost couldnt find my first initial reciept (it was in my wallet the whole time) i have all three reciepts and will be getting money back. It is just more or less a matter of time of when i do it. If second shipment is within the same week then i'll hold on to it, but if its like two weeks later then i'll just get my money back after securing one from BestBuy. I guess another option would be to sell it to a friend that wants one which is what i might do if they cant find on in second shipment either.

First Come First Serve @ BestBuy FTW!!!!!! Im already psyched, I bought heroes of legends and i still have Kingdom Hearts chain of memories and final fantasy tatics advance so i cant get board. I used to work out in the freezing cold so i know how to stay warm. I'm getting me one on the 22nd.

From what I've heard (Tycho of Penny Arcade is going through the same thing and is making himself heard about it), the "2nd shipment"according to EBgames and Gamestop is some time in the middle of December.

Yea, Xbox360 really got the commercials going.. It is very tempting to try and get a Xbox360 instead of a PS3.. But also PS3 is decently popular(both like in every new gen-year ). Sony has had a lot of troubles recently.. and I guess you all know what troubles. One thing that is totally left out is.. The Nintendo Revolution. I hear absolutely nothing about it :/. I suspect this to be a failure.. but who knows. Im sure Nintendo fans are interested in it as well. ^^

To all these people saying when the 2nd shipment is, the truth (I work for EBGames), is:

<b> WE DON"T KNOW</b> If you hear someone tell you "middle of decemeber", it's to just get you to shut up, and stop whining. I'm tried of all the people comming into my store "Can I reserve an xbox 360 now?".

We don't know when the 2nd shipment is going to come, if it's comming before christmas, or what not, we DON"T KNOW>

"I want my money back, this game is not approiate for my child!". What gets me even more are the people who come into the store today and ask "Can I reserve one of them XBox360's?" (Yes, I live in the south, and I get asked "One of them xbox's". I just look at them and say: "No, but you can try waiting outside target like everyone else".

What pained me the most is when Microsoft told us of our new "Alloications" for xbox360, cutting what they told us in half. I yelled at the rep on the phone, seriuosly, I didn't want to put up with his BS. They PROMISED us X amount, and then 2 weeks before launch they say "Oh, You're only getting x/2 amount now". (Sorry, I can't tell you my numbers for the store, my work would kill me :X). Yea, so then I had to CALL people, and tell them that they wern't getting one. Was not a good day.

I know that had to suck, but atleast you had the compassion to let people know. I had to call gamestop earlier this week to find out 9 weeks preorder wasnt enough to get one anytime soon. He didnt lie to me though. Said he had no idea when I'd get mine.

Yes, please don't take your aggression out on us, we are just the middle man. We are at Microsoft's mercy, they could just very well say we're not getting any, and be done with it. But atleast we are getting a few. I don't know when the 2nd shipment is comming, and I ( Let me stress this _I_, not EBGames, not Microsoft, this is my OWN PERSONAL OPNION!) don't think it's comming before christmas.

But yea, the thing about the accressories and stuff is true, from my DM, I got the order to "Process them by the tie ratio (meaning how much shit you pre-ordered with it)", I took it upon myself to say "Screw that" to him, I'm going in order by reserves.

Yes, this did take place, and I took the top people who reserved and called them and said they were getting a 360.

Then, not less then a week later, my microsoft rep called me and say they had another change in allocation. We lost some units, and gained some more (Lost Ultimates, gained cores). So I had to do something even more horriable again, call people again. Thankfully one guy didn't even want his...but the other, was pissed. So I told him he was all taken care of, and he was.

How you ask? I decided to give up my reserve and go sit outside walmart to get mine. (I got this idea from one of my friends, who runs the other EB in my Area, who also gave up his for a customer). I will be sitting outside Walmart for 7 hours to get mine).

Anyway, if yo uguys have any 360 questions on anything, just ask me. Hell, I'll make a new post for it.

Yes, tuesday, this is when most electronics stuff comes out. VideoGames, Movies, ect, yo uanme it it comes out on tuesday!
