...You know, this was prob. an extremly stupid idea... why would you pull your reserve? You had one set in line and what if you STILL can't get one on launch date, you do know that it's going to be EXTREMLY hard to get one untill after the first of the year right? If I were you I wouldn't have pulled my reserve... but that's just me....

Ahhh but you did pull your reserve in favor of waiting in line at a retail store thats doing FCFS (first come first serve.) Also, he may have pulled his reserve in favor of doing that also, but thats a big maybe. If he pulled his reserve with no alterior way of getting one on launch day then to bad for him :/

The reason I say he's stupid for pulling it early, what if you CAN"T get one on release day? Even if you do wait 12 hours to get one? Oh well, it was his choice, not mine. I havn't pulled my reserve at my store yet because I'm not 100% sure I can get one on launch day.

Hmmmm....but you gave your reserve to some poor pathetic soul that you had to tell would not get his on release day........

How you ask? I decided to give up my reserve and go sit outside walmart to get mine. (I got this idea from one of my friends, who runs the other EB in my Area, who also gave up his for a customer). I will be sitting outside Walmart for 7 hours to get mine).

But, I'm 100% sure I'll be getting one on release day , and I didn't cancel my reserve, it's still sitting in my computer, 100% paid off.

Ok, So I've decided to tell you guys release numbers on number of consoles we are getting (as well as other retailers).

My Store: 10 Prem. 3 Core
Babbages accross the street in the mall: 10 Prem.
Walmart Down the road: 8 (total, don't know distro)
Target: ??
Toys-r-Us: 3
BestBuy: 54 (this is what their electronics manager told me, then again, he told me 200 a week ago).
2nd walmart 10 miles away: (heh, yea, I know sad... there's 5 walmarts within a 20 mile radius of me). 7
3rd walmart: 11
circuit city: 5

seems i should elaborate. I pulled my money because they said I wouldn't be able to get on release day and I wouldn't have enough money to pay for the rest of it for awhile. The money had to go elsewhere. I guess I sorta regret it now.. but then again.. my major reason for wanting it was for FFXI so there's still plenty of time to get it i suppose.

For a pretty basic understanding of how much Xbox 360-ness Target stores are getting, my Super Target has 7 Premium and 3 Core systems, and it's the largets Target store in the southeast.

Don't expect much from Walmart or Target. If you're gonna be in line in the morning, Bestbuy's the way to go.

Well the Walmarts here did a lottery type give out. So if you camped for hours or showed up 2 mins before, you had the same chance at getting one. They handed out numbers and then pulled out numbers from a jar. They had 12 units, 4 core and 6 premium. Best Buy had a line of tents down the sidewalk and around the corner.

I'll leave the topic sticked for the 2nd wave of 360 release since that will be the next big event as far as the X360 launch is concerned. I'm currently on Vacation from work till Monday, so I havn't been in the store.

As far as I know, Dead or Alive 4 is still on track for December 12th.
