Edit: Another question though.. Difference between Silver and Gold Xbox Live?

Im sure i read it somewhere earlier.. I just wanna know what i "need" to get in order to play FFXI on Xbox360.

Xbox Silver is free and included with every xbox360 that is sold. The ony thing you get with silver is a online chat room, and the ability to have a gamer card, as well as play FFXIOnline

Xbox Gold is the pay per year to get downloadable content, multiplayer,and alot more... If I didn't have geology I'd go more indepth on this.

EDIT: Aaaaaaaand another question just came up

. Sorry. You might not know this, since its more FFXI then Xbox.. but if you or someone else knows, please tell me.
If i get the Xbox Core system.. without harddrive.. Could I still save game on FFXI? Will I need Xbox harddrive to install FFXI? Or does FFXI for Xbox360 come with a harddrive..

You need to have the hard drive to play Final Fantasy XI. It is required to install the game as well as the various updates the game has. If you want to play FFXI on XBox 360, you definitely want to get the premium package rather than the core system, as the hard drive is required for the game.

If you get the premium system, your getting approx. $185 worth of additional stuff for $100. It really is a good deal and it you plan on eventually getting the hd you might as well go for the premium. But of course there are people that would love to get the premium but just can not afford to right now. So the core system is fine, especially if your going to play FFXI on it because you'll have plenty of time to save up for a hd. FFXI won't be out on the 360 for quite some time.

How come it says that the system supports up to 4 players playing at the same time via wireless controllers, but there's only two ports for hardcable controllers? ^^

2. the dvd remote: that means since I wont get mine in the first wave I wont get it at all?

It was not HDMI compatible last time I checked (about 6 mons ago) but its composite/component and you get that cable in the premium package.

The way they worded that was that its a smaller version of the remote that will only be available in the first wave with the premium package. Now that could mean you'll get the regular remote after that or that they won't offer a remote at all with the package (but I find that unlikely).

Yes Mr. Gates LOOOOOOOVES screwing with peoples heads! I swear I read somewhere that he was funding research on how to turn us into mindless Windows users......um.....hmmm....I think he's already succeeding with that......

The test unit we got had 3 USB 2.0 points on it. 2 in the front, and 1 in the back. The one in the back was prob. for the wireless adapter that you can buy. I'm not sure why they did this, but I think that Microsoft is edging people on to buy more wireless stuff, as it is "Next Gen". The only thing that bothers me is the pricing scheme for the stuff.

Wired Controller - $39.99
Wire-less Controller - $49.99
"Play and Charge Kit" - $19.99 (no, the wireless controller does NOT include a rechargeable battery, you can either buy this, for $8.99 or you can buy the play and charge for 19.99.

To my current knowledge no, the only thing that it can do right now is VGA, and of course Comp. (R/B/G). I think they will upgrade to HDMI here shortly, as I can't wait for this to come myself, because the upgrade from Comp ->HDMI is incrediable, well worth the 100$ I spent on that cable from my DVD player.

No, you can buy the Universial DVD Remote ($19.99) by itself, the Limited Edition one is smaller, (abit more like a mini-remote), and come's free as a bonus for getting it on release day.

I'm not really sure on this one. Depends on why you think he hates you.

Because I'm sure alot of people who pre-ordered for the premium package but won't be getting one in the first shipment will be peeved that they may end up with one less piece of equipment....

You know, this was prob. an extremly stupid idea... why would you pull your reserve? You had one set in line and what if you STILL can't get one on launch date, you do know that it's going to be EXTREMLY hard to get one untill after the first of the year right? If I were you I wouldn't have pulled my reserve... but that's just me.

Microsoft has only told us first shipment, I don't know if that means "First shipment till the end of the year", or does it mean "Launch Day".
