Actually i rather like the Mario sport series, the names are kinda crappy but really it really takes a spin on rather boring sport games that i would never buy(think about how many sport games come out each year?) into a game that i would. Mario Tennis was a winner for me, so i hope this works out.

mario has always come out in sport games tho if you think about it :D And they're pretty cute and fun.

Kinda like Kunio-kun of the downtown series.... Technos Japan reuse him over and over and we got all those violence based sport games which are pretty fun to play xD
starting from kunio dodge ball which was the best of the series imo... and then in no particular order kunio soccer1 2 3 and 2 more on game boy, kunio baseball, kunio volleyball, kunio hockey, kunio olympic, kunio 4 high scoll contest whatever it's called in english, kunio battle tournament, kunio Edo adventure, urg I can't name them all...
