The design for both are pretty much identical, but... For some reason I seem to doubt Microsoft would let the previous model (Xbox) to be compatible with the newer version (Xbox 360). In other words... I wouldn't press your luck on it.

Nope, the controllers are wireless or Wired Standard USB(allows for use on 360/pc)
