So does anyone still keep tabs on WoW through their site? I just noticed that they're adding four boss dragons into the game, which are supposed to be the hardest enemies to date.

I try to keep my thoughts about WoW as reserved as possible so as not to offend any fans of the game, but I do find myself chuckling at a few things that have been added recently. Although I doubt we could say that FFXI was the first MMO to add hard dragon enemies to the game, it's still rather interesting.

dragons are a staple of a lot of rpg games wether tabletop or rpg games that have come out since before even the nes was around.

They are just finishing up an instance. They've always planned on haveing thoes dragons, they were just ironing out the bugs.

So you're insinuating that Blizzard added some dragons to WoW... because Square-Enix added some dragons to FFXI? Or maybe you're gloating because FFXI had dragons before WoW?

I don't get it. Dragons are common to nearly all fantasy settings, and having new endgame encounters added is fundamental to MMORPG gameplay.

I don't think it's the fact of them adding dragons. I think it's the fact that what happens to be the hardest monsters they are adding to the game for fights happens to be Dragons and on top of which is 4 of them like FFXI basically done.

I seriously doubt they will be nearly as hard as Vrtra or even the other three. I do however believe, it will lead to some glitch that will cause WoW to suck even more and koreans will be the first to beat them.

They look like monsters the care bares would fight, but if they were hippys from the 60's. Just pure midgets compared to FFXI's four.

WoW's graphics make me want to hurt myself...

The worst part is only FFXI players will recognize this as another one of Blizzard's cheap attempts to add content to their game. WoW players seem to be completely ignorant of the content of any other game.

I'm in the precarious position of agreeing with Brp. (omg! First Bush accepts responsibility, now this!!) Those dragons have a "Puff the Magic Dragon" feel to them.

yeah, the FF dragons look much more fearsome than WoW's which is more cute and cuddley

I think WoW's dragon looks pretty good in their style. For a really low poly count that's a neat colorful texture as well. Just match their theme.

FFXI dragons are on the realistic side.
