Why did Kadaj and the others keep calling it Jenova's neck? Is that what they really meant or is it just a bad translation, like the zuruzuru thing?

well just repaste it,

zuruzuru doesn't really have an exact translation that would satisfy it completely.

Drag, drift, it's all part of it I guess. It's a sound word, like bam, or sparkle.

Litterially it's the sound of friction when draging a heavy object around.

Translatators really did have a hard time trying to english-ize the massive zuruzuru-ton by Tifa, as nothing make grammatical sense. To simplify, Cloud is wallowing in his own dispair again.

The wolf thats in the movie, teh ones thats by his buster sword and at the forgotten capital and such. Is that "Zack" ? I never really picked up on who he was representing till i thought about zack.~

Someone was asking where the end credits were set.. I'm not sure exactly where they were set, but in the beginning of those credits you see "Hawaii second unit" or something like that. They look live-action, but you can't always tell with the compression @.@! I'm pretty sure that's where they were shot.

Also, in the original fansubs released; reno and rude call it "Jenova's Head" but in the official S-E subs (which aren't very well done if you ask me. Literal translations, with no flavor.. like excluding 'yo' at the end of reno's sentences. What's up with that?) it says "Jenova's neck".

Also, what's the deal with the ending when Cloud dies. First viewing.. I thought that Jenova was talking to Kadaj, but I'm pretty sure it's Aeris. When Cloud calls Aeris mother, she says "How many times have I been called mother today?" And then you hear Kadaj say something like "She says it's not your time." But I guess that could be Zack, since he's shown there in the church and they're supposed to be together right? I dunno. I would assume Kadaj and gang would return to nothingness since they were just kind of projections of JENOVA/Sephiroth's consciousness.

Ooo you're right, that could be Hawaii since I remember Squaresoft had their CG division there.... I'm pretty sure the background is live action. There is that one point where you see some animals crossing the highway. At first I was all like, "OMG CHOCOBO" but then I watched it again an it looks like deer

Aeris = the planet = the 'real' Mother

Kadaj an company were all born from the planet, despite having Jenova DNA in them, so when they died, they returned to the planet like everybody else does. Hence why Kadaj was calling Aeris 'Mother' at the end an why she told him it was time to go home aka be reabsorbed back into the lifestream.

IMO, the wolf is just a spirit projection of Aeris, since we only catch it in glimpses an when Cloud 'dies' it comes up behind him only to be replaced by Aeris. It could be argued that it's Zack too since he is also apart of the planet as well i guess.


It was obvious that Kadaj an gang were Sephiroth clones that... i guess 'woke up' since in the game they were all blathering morons. Which makes you wonder...

....Aren't there 9 other Sephiroth clones? An where are they?

i made a mistake at first when i posted tho you can see i edit it ;; kubi = neck so there for...its jenova's neck tho i have no idea why its her neck...anyone care to explain it? lol

Because the head is part of another plotline in the game I believe.

Sephiroth cuts off the head of Jenova way back when in that incident in Nibelheim. This is evident when you see Jenova in that canister in the Shinra building and Barret's wonderfully stereotypical response is-

Anyway, it is possible that it is Jenova's neck because that is most likely all that is left.

Cept in AC, it's evident that they found the head in Northern crater. >.> Especially so when Rufus says something to the extent of "You're wondering what we found int he crater? Nothing. We found nothing in the crater, Cloud." it's just like, his tone of voice and everything. Wonderful

EDIT: I guess it's not proof that they found the head in the crater. They could've found the neck. But since Sephiroth had the head with him when he fell into the mako (I believe), chances are it would've been assimilated into the lifestream and taken to the crater.

They found the neck. Mentioned in the Vincent conversation. Their sin, and they paid for it with torture.

We'll find out more when the P2P game comes out, as that's the missing link to the story, hopefully. It could be that Vincent will just shoot down anything moving, and walk pass those crucial (?)
