I've already got a few on my list. I'm gonna be getting the PS2/HDD combo, so i'll also be able to get HDD only games. I've already bought one, minna no golf online. Right now, i think I'll only be able to afford 1 game, and that's it. I MIGHT be able to afford another one next week, but I won't know that for sure till then. I could use some help on what to decide.
Certain games I know I'm gonna get eventually, like I know I want bomberman online, since I know that uses the HDD also, and I'm a big fan of the series.
I wanna try getting ape escape 3 which comes out in japan next week. Might just wait till my next paycheck for that one since it aint even out yet.
Also, hoping to get jikyou powerful pro baseball 12, that also comes out next week, but i'll probably wait till next paycheck for that as well. Love that series, but not many people in america are even aware of it's existance.
I'm interested in the other HDD only game called Pop'n taisen puzzle battle online. Supposed to be a pretty fun game puzzle game you can play on and offline. Once it installs to the HDD, never even requires the disc again. However, I hear through the playstation BB network program, you can download a demo of the game for free. So i'm gonna wait to try the demo before I get the game.
Other than that, I can't really think of much off the bat. I like RPGs, but I'm gonna probably steer clear of most japanese ones, unless they have english in them like final fantasy x and x-2 international, and kingdom hearts final mix. Those are gonna have to wait tho, cause they aint cheap.
Any other import/non japanese speaking friendly games that I'm not quite aware of? Anything really cool that I've been missing out on all these years that only the japanese have had? Or even a version of a game that is out in the states, but the japanese version is cooler? I just wanna hear what YOU like if you're a fellow JPN ps2 owner, like I soon will be. Thanks in advance!
