Don't jump the gun. The PS3 might not be able to read the formatting of the HDD of the PS2. It might not even read the file formats that the PS2 uses. It's all conjecture at this point.

Was there an update to the size of the HDD for the PS3? Did they decide to go to the larger sizes now? As far I knew it was to have a 2.5" docking bay which is much smaller then the PS2 so the PS2's HDD will not fit it.

The only thing that will make me buy a Xbox360 will be if an X360 ONLY Final Fantasy game is released.

S-E has made mention to going multiplatform. I don't know if that means that some games will be on multiplatform, or they will be developing games for all platforms. It comes down to games. There weren't any games for the Xbox I gave a rarabs ass about, so I never bought one.

So unless S-E puts a kick ass game out on the X360 ONLY, I won't be buying one. I however will be buying a Revolution. Being able to download all the old games and play them? I know that's gimmicky, and screams "we won't have good games for this generation for you to play" but those old games, and future Metroid games will be plenty for me!

PS3 is just a no brainer for me. I'll have one at launch. As soon as they start pre-orders, I'll get an order and pay the entire thing off.
