By the looks of pai pais avi, i rather have an xbox360 because PS3 is looking retarded. Do you guys think ffxi will come out on ps3?

More than likely I would choose XBOX 360 over PS3 for one reason, the PS3 controller looks really uncomfortable to me, but I would have to wait to see what it feels like.

I dont own an XBOX and I own a PS2, so no bias or anything.

Right now, I'm looking at PS3. They both are fairly even in about 1/4 of their specs but it looks like the PS3 has the Xbox 360 beat in the rest of them. Besides that the comment Allard made against PS3 just sounded so obviously arrogant, I have the feeling he's underestimating the need for a very good hardware base.

That is the foundation for the whole thing after all, what I mean is yeah the PS3 may be well over hardware wise then what some software developers could do. Really though it isn't like this limitation is permanent, I myself never thought I could fill up a 240 GB HD with all my stuff. To my surprise though I did simply because it was there and available for that potential.

With that said though I still might get Xbox 360 if SquareEnix does end up deciding to release most of their stuff on it. :sweat:

Just for fairness though (Understand more of my view and reasoning), with my personal experience nearly everything labeled Microsoft has been unreliable. You should of seen how happy I was when I found another Office program that worked better then Microsoft Office, and it's capabilities made me think Office was horribly made.

Other then that I'm a little nervous about a company that rushes so fast to release their product, that they'd forget to put in one of the most crutial items. Then end up having to have a news release letting everyone know they need to download an update to put in what they forgot.

It's a shame really since the Non-Mac PCs work so beautifully and has so much more potential that many people probably do not realize only because the only OS they can use is the Windows (I mean that the users not having enough knowledge to how to use other OSs, since they are not as user-friendly). This should be intresting to see though, PS3 is already prepared their system to handle capacity well beyond a Dual Layer Disk which Xbox decided to limit themselves to that point.

As seem before with Nintendo and cartriges to PS and CDs the larger storage capacity won that fight hands down.

I'm definately going for the PS3, simply because XBOX360 wont be able to play Final Fantasy XII, and cause I think the PS3's cell technology will surpass the XBOX by far, and because Microsoft's XBOX360 doesn't have Bluedisk technology, which has been proven the better next generation of storage, with its capacity reaching as high as 25Gigs with just one layer, while XBOX360's just has the HD technology, which is good but not as good, only being able to hold 15 Gigs.

Umm xbox will most likely not be better game wize.

Before you get all personal on your game prefences, Sony had the lead in developers for ps1, ps2 and from the conference Ps3 as well.

Unless xbox makes a lot of headway in developer confidence, it's has the Nintendo problem. 1st party, and desprately begging for 3rd parties.

at E3 conference, MS show off 10 games, and sony shows off 20, and arguably better titles.

I will go for ps3 as well. One reason is it will play FFX12(Yeah). Another is because it again mention before, it has a lead in terms of games. It always has.
Yeah, i do not like the look of the controlller, i would have preferred if they didn't change it. But looks aren't everything. I wait till i have tried and tested it.
Also ps3 does have a lead in terms of hardware as well. With more processing power than xbox and graphics better than 2x6800ultras, it definately has something to shout about.

You basically named almost every xbox360 title currently known in developement. Half of them don't look that great, but alas it's a matter of perference there. [Odd you forgot halo, since it's a very xboxish quote]

Ps3 easily has double that, and EA has always been cross platform, so Madden and Need for speed won't be exclusive.

So many known games for PS3 in fact that they conference splits it up into 2 catagories. Establish titles, and Journeymen establishing titles.

You know the question was a simple one. Name five 360 titles you would buy. So I named the ones that I'm interested in. Did the question state if they were better or worse than another system? Did it state if the other system had more support? Did it stated only ones that are available on release? No. You can turn it into a X system is better than Y system all you want. As I've stated before in many other threads, I prefer NO system. I'm not a fanboy. I stated the games I can't wait to be released for on the 360, simple as that. If you want to be biased, more power to you. I'll just be laughing as I'm enjoying many more games while your limited to one system and I have all 3.
