    Rest In Peace - Robin Williams - Dead @ 63

    Not sure if anyone else found out, but the actor/comedian, Robin Williams died today at 63 after taking his own life. It's a very sad moment in history, since he was a man who was very well known. When you mentioned Flubber or Jumanji or Good Will Hunting, his name would pop into your head. Someone mentions Robin Williams and you'd go "Hey I know who he is!" It is with great sadness that I inform you that today our nation has lost another inspiring actor.

    Yeah was about to post this, I just saw it now on the CBC news.

    Holy shit... well, he was in and out of rehab struggling with Alcohol so I can't say it's a complete surprise but even still it's pretty tragic and shocking.

    He will be missed

      This is just ... I don't even have the words. I grew up with his movies, and watching Mork and Mindy on TV. I can't believe this. Really upsetting.

        Damn, I'm used to hearing so many celebrity deaths, but it's usually natural causes. This one really stings. This guy had such a unique way of tackling humor and doing so with heart and honesty, even about some of his own past troubles Even in recent years he was still so sharp.

        There will never be another actor or stand-up comedian like Robin Williams.

          It was not his time.

          I don't think I can say anything else that hasn't been said yet, though. I'm at a loss.

            Heard it off-handedly mentioned at the card shop tonight. I still don't really know how to process it. Like many people I enjoyed his work, but I didn't know the man personally so I have no idea what to think of this being an alleged suicide.

            The world's a slightly darker place for losing his particular brand of humor. Here's to you, you magnificent son of a bitch.

              I have just woken up to this and I am extremley gutted, williams was a release for me when at low points watching his and Billy Connolly's comedy routines always kept me going.

                Truly one of the most gifted and wonderful people to have ever walked on this planet. I can only imagine how this can be for his closest friends and family.

                A sad day for the world indeed.
