According to BBC website Japan has been chosen for the 2020 Olympics what shall we expect from the bizarr eastern side, can the Japs trump britians comedy of hospital beds and parachuting queen will anime have a theme as part of the opening and closing ceremonies what new technology willbe implimented in the show to beat the UK's LED seat lights? I for one am waiting with baited breath and will just glaze over RIO's in 2016.

Honestly, the weirdest Olympics is probably going to be Beijing, for a very long time, hopefully forever. The UK and Japan may be proud to show off their quirkiness, but China is just plain backwards, no matter how they try to hide it. I mean, Deer Penis alone.

Now granted I was much younger, not at all into really anything Japanese at the time, and I don't really recall much about the opening ceremonies, but I don't remember them being all that crazy when Nagano hosted the Winter Olympics years back.
